Cabinet Position Descriptions

Athletics Chair
• In charge of planning Greek Games Week
• Report on upcoming intramurals
• Manage Fantasy Football and March Madness Leagues
• Assist the VP of Risk Management as needed and with the construction of the AFLV binder.
Student Government Representative
• Must be an active member on Student Government
• Act as liaison between IFC and Student Government
• Serve as Parliamentarian for the VP of Standards on the Greek Review Board and provide
assistance with the AFLV binder.

Philanthropy and Community Service Chair


• Report on upcoming philanthropies within individual chapters.
• Work with VP of Community Service in planning IFC’s philanthropy and with the AFLV binder.
• Chair the Make a Wish Foundation Committee.

Scholarship Chair
• Work with VP Internal in planning scholarship incentives and assist in the supervision of study
tables as needed.
• Give reports on scholarship opportunities and advising and class registration deadlines.
• Assist the VP Internal in the making and distributing Scholastic Achievement Certificates and
with constructing the AFLV binder.

Greek Relations Chair


• Attend all PHC and NPHC meetings as IFC’s representative.
• Report on what is going on at these meetings.
• Meet with IFC’s President on a regular basis to keep him informed about upcoming events and/or
projects that PHC and NPHC are planning and help with the AFLV binder.

Greek Relations Chair (Housing)


• Attend weekly RHA and NRHH meetings.
• Report on what is going on with RHA and NRHH at IFC Meetings.
• Work with the VP of Membership Development in planning IFC’s Educational Week and assist
with the AFLV binder.

Greek Relations Chair (Services)


• Keep IFC informed on campus closings (residence halls, library, etc).
• Schedule at least one meeting a semester with career services and the Health Education Resource
Center (HERC) to find out about services available to students and give a report at IFC.
• Work with the VP of Public Relations in publicizing all IFC events and help with the AFLV
binder.

Council Relations Chair:


• Take minutes at monthly cabinet meetings.
• Work with the VP of Administrative Affairs in logging absences for cabinet meetings.
• Create and order IFC T-shirts for cabinet members.
• Assist the VP of Administrative Affairs as needed and provide assistance with the AFLV binder.

- All cabinet members must also attend a monthly cabinet meeting which will take place on
the first Tuesday of each month immediately following the IFC meeting.
