ZigBee® module solutions

Enabling OEMs to add wireless networking capabilities to

electronic devices

Representing a cost-effective and power-efficient solution

for a large variety of applications, ZigBee modules enable
OEMs to add powerful wireless networking capabilities to
electronic devices without the need of RF expertise and
knowledge.

The devices form a family of low-power, 2.4 GHz ISM

band transceiver modules using a single-chip solution that
integrates an IEEE 802.15.4 RF transceiver and ready-to-
run EmberZNet (from Ember Corporation) ZigBee-compliant
protocol stack.

Family features Target applications

QQ Based on a system-on-chip integrating a 2.4 GHz QQ Wireless sensor networks
IEEE 802.15.4 radio transceiver and a state-of-the-art QQ Remote monitoring
microcontroller QQ Wireless alarms and security systems
QQ 3 dBm output power (5 dBm in boost mode) at the IC QQ Home/building automation
QQ Single supply voltage (2.1 V to 3.6 V range) QQ Health, sport and entertainment equipment
QQ FCC and CE compliance QQ Machine-to-machine communications
QQ Operating temperature range: -40 °C to +85 °C
QQ SPZB250 provides 17 GPIOs with selectable functions
including UART, I²C, SPI, ADC
QQ SPZB260-PRO is controlled through a standard serial
interface (SPI) allowing the connection to a variety of
host microcontrollers

Key benefits
QQ Worldwide operability in the 2.4 GHz band
QQ Low power consumption and small-size modules
QQ Cost-effective ZigBee solution for OEMs
QQ Modules designed to run EmberZNet ZigBee protocol
stack, including PRO, and custom applications by
acting as coordinator, router or end device in the target
application
