Reflector The X-Buoy consists of minimum amount of
module different parts, making the assembly robust and
reliable in harsh marine conditions. It has been
engineered to be used globally in most coastal
waters. The monolithic floatant can withstand

objects.

12V alkaline battery pack, 3x638Ah. Depending
on your solutions energy consumption,
rechargeable lead battery packs are also avail-
able.

Sea profiling
When integrated with a profiler and
probe, the X-Buoy becomes an
autonomous in-situ sea monitoring
system, transmitting real-time data of
the sea profile. The graph on the left
shows the vertical distribution of tem-
perature in the Gulf of Finland (Baltic
Sea), June 30 - August 4, 2010. Depth
range: 3-45 m, location 59°41.05 N,
24°37.45 E.
