CEO Forum - Turning Board Members into Owners & Champions for Change
This program is exclusively for CEOs.
In today’s rapidly changing, always challenging world, it is critical that nonprofit boards and CEOs work
closely together as a cohesive strategic leadership team. Board members who “own” their governing work are
far more likely to become positive and productive team members and to function as “change champions” for
their CEOs. Through facilitated discussion and Q&A, this CEO Forum will address practical, thoroughly tested
ways to foster board member ownership, such as: involvement in well-designed governing committees;
proactive participation in key governing processes, such as strategic planning; and the use of a governance
task force to involve board members in updating their governing role, structure, and processes.
