PROCESS INVOLVED

RTO: This project was designed basically to reduce the manually feeding of
data by the R.T.O offices, before providing the learner’s license or
Permanent License certain details of the customers had to be viewed and
recorded in the registers and in the application forms. To avoid this manual
feeding of data for the present and the future generation, computerized
feeding of data was done.
This gave us an idea to design this project using a computer.

This Project can perform various options like…


Filling up the customer Details in the Application form, here we require the
Applicant Name, Address for correspondence, Date of Birth, Gender,
Educational Qualification, Age Proof, Address Proof, RTO Office, Test Date
and the payment Details. In the application form the Application Number
will be automatically generated. Here we can save the data, retrieve the
record for updating, Delete the record, when the record gets saved it prompts
for the medical certificate, where it checks whether he/she is applicable for
getting the license or not.

1. When the Applicant is eligible for the license then they are eligible for
Learners license.

In the Learners License, the required details are:


a. License Number – It is automatically generated
b. Date of issue, Place of issue, Expiry Date
c. Challan No., and Amount

These details can be stored in the database, they can be updated, and
the existing license holder’s details can be displayed by selecting the
application number, which is displayed automatically.

Permanent License:
The learner’s license is valid only for 6 months. Renewal of Learners
license is not allowed. Hence they are supposed to apply for the permanent
license. In the permanent license certain details are collected like:
A. Permanent License Number – It is automatically generated
B. Date of issue, Place of issue, Expiry Date
C. Challan No., Badge No., and Amount
D. And the other Details like their name, Application Number,
Type of vehicle, Learners license number are automatically
taken from the existing database just by providing the
Application Number.

Renewal Form:
If the customer loses his License or if the License Expiries then he can
apply for a new license. This can be achieved by collecting the details like…
1. Old License Details
And then keying in the New License Details like
A. New License Number – It is automatically generated
B. Date of issue, Place of issue, Expiry Date
C. Challan No., Badge No., and Amount
And the other Details like their name, Application Number, Type of vehicle,
Learners license number or permanent License numbers are automatically
taken from the existing database just by providing the Application Number.

Vehicle Detail Description:

The module is the vehicle registration and vehicle transfer certificate


generation. For this the common form will be vehicle detail description
form, by entering the details the administrator print the report of the details
of registration or the transfer certificate. This contains vehicle details like
vehicle number, date of registration, type of registration, chassis no., etc...

Employee Module:

This is the final module where in the employee database is created


where in employee addition and deletion, new department and designation
of officials are created and finally the pay slip generation of each employee
are been generated individually.

Finally the About RTO form will be loaded, so that any one who is
interested to know about the functionalities carried out by this project can go
through the About Form.
