Before you measure:
• Take your measurements over a well-fitted bra and underwear.
• Stand up straight with your heels together and shoulders relaxed back. Do not hold your breath,
“suck it in,” stick out your chest, or otherwise affect your natural posture.
• When measuring circumferences, keep the measuring tape soft around your body--don’t tighten
the measuring tape.
• When measuring circumferences, the measuring tape should remain level all around your body,
parallel with the floor.
• When measuring lengths, the measuring tape should be held taut, perpendicular with the floor.
• When taking your under bust to bust apex measurement, hold the end of the tape against the
underwire or band of your bra, directly under the breast’s fullest point. Smooth the tape along the
curve up to the bust apex, and note the measurement at the breasts fullest point.
