 BACKGROUND
Rapid economic growth followed by recession in the last few years, has shattered
many organizations and forced them to rethink about strategies to ensure their
survival. The greatest challenge among the organizations is to sustain in this
turbulent market by offering value products. There are many different views on this
crucial issue. The academic scholars stress on the value based strategies of
sustainability while the organizations stress upon the profit-oriented growth-centric
sustainability. The conference attempts to offer a platform, where, academicians,
