Dear Constituents of Legislative District 23: Often times, young men and women are forced to attend school part-time or take out loans just to cover the cost of tuition, room and board. After speaking with many of you, I have put together a collection of scholarships, fellowships and grants to make paying for college less of a burden. Not only does the packet include financial aid opportunities, but also different internships with organizations such as the United States Congress and the Supreme Court. Furthermore, the packet is not limited to undergraduate study, but also provides assistance to students who are pursuing post-graduate degrees. Attending college and earning a degree should not result in a lifetime of debt, but rather provide endless opportunity. Scholarship details and deadlines are reviewed and updated yearly by our office, however, if a scholarship listed is one that you are interested in, please double check all dates and requirements. Often these changes are made after my packet has been completed.
