this introductory course will learn about the models within the series, key features, physical configurations
and a general console navigation overview.

Deploying Cisco Routers – 8.5 hours

(Prerequisite for this course is Introduction to Cisco Routers) - In this course, you gain the basic
knowledge and skills required to understand the processes, protocols, and configurations of Cisco
routers. The course explores the Cisco network design in depth, including network architecture, protocols,
and physical and logical addressing. Participants will learn network solutions that include network
topologies, LAN and WAN hardware and media, network-layer addressing, routing protocols, and network
management strategies.

Long Term Evolution (LTE) – 4.5 Hours

Today's cell phones and handheld devices are mini media centers with access to music, photos, games,
video, and a host of connectivity options. The next step forward in cellular services Long Term Evolution
(LTE) will further enhance these services by enabling high-speed data rates that are up to eighty times
faster than current standards. This workshop will introduce participants to the next-generation network
beyond 3G.

Overview of Mutliprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) – 4.5 hours

Today there is a drive to enable voice networks with an intelligent control plane based on evolution of IP
and MPLS protocols. Voice over MPLS is one of the most innovative data networking technologies to
emerge since the Internet. This course looks at the subject of MPLS and optical networks. Participants
will see how it works.

Troubleshooting Cisco Routers – 8.5 hours

(Prerequisites for this course are Introduction to Cisco Routers and Deploying Cisco Routers) - This
course provides a comprehensive introduction to troubleshooting Cisco Routers. It is designed to
provide participants with a fundamental understanding of different methods and router modes that can
be used to identify and correct issues with Cisco routers. Topics covered in this module include
configuration registers, different router modes, and password recovery. Upon completion of this course
participants will have the skills necessary to troubleshoot the most common problems typically
encountered with a Cisco router.
