TERRY- I am an organized and punctual person. I encourage and support
members of our team. I possess great computer skills, very knowledgeable
of PPT and work great with teams to get assignments completed. I have
great people skills and enjoy doing research. I possess outgoing energy
and positive attitudes towards others. I keep an open mind and embrace
all thoughts and ideas of team members. My weakness is editing,
formatting and compiling.

What are potential barriers to the achievement of these goals?

TERRY- Clear understanding of everybody’s individual portions and


responsibilities on the assignment. Time lines for team member’s
schedules. Lack of participation. Outside obligations, i.e. work, family.
Work ethics. Time Zones. Lack of Communication

Ground Rules
Meeting schedule, locations, attendance expectations, agenda, assignment completion,
communication methods, etc.

TERRY- Treat each other with respect, work with each other to set and
agree upon reasonable deadlines for projects and communicate openly
without fear of ridicule. Expect and embrace differences of opinion, and
use them as learning opportunities to understand a new perspective and
become a stronger team.

Conflict Management
What are potential conflicts that might arise among or between team members during this course?
How will team members deal with these and other conflicts?

TERRY- Differences of opinion between team members regarding project


scope, deadlines, and quality. I believe that open communication can
solve most of this. We are all adults and should be able to resolve most
issues that arise using peer-to-peer communication between the
individuals involved (without involving the entire group or instructor). If a
problem cannot be resolved in the peer-to-peer fashion the instructor can
be contacted for assistance as a last resort – we’re adults and are a team
I’m confident that we can work through any problems that arise.
