I. Historic, scientific and medical background

1. PROGNOS and the basics of the Traditional Chinese Medicine

PROGNOS is a diagnostic and therapy system based on the Traditional Chinese Medicine. A fusion of
thousand years of medical knowledge and the most modern technology in one system, which for the
first time provides a real oppertunity towards the prevention of sickness.Using a painless method,
which takes only a few minutes to complete, a picture of the engergetical state of the body can be
created. For 5000 years, the Chinese found that the root of all sickness can be ascribed to a disordered
energy-cyclus.

The measurements are done over the so-called ‘meridian-system’.

Meridians are the energy courses of the body, which form a very powerful but also very sensitive
system. A lack of energy in the meridians over a long period of time can lead to organic and,
eventually, to psychological discomfort. With the help of PROGNOS it's now possible to detect
deficiencies and to rebalance them with natural methods before symptoms start to appear. It's even
 possible to find out the roots of chronic diseases and diffuse sicknesses and to start corresponding
therapies.

2. PROGNOS and its roots in space-travel

The discoveries of the ancient Chinese were the basis for the science project of the team of Prof. Dr.
med. Zagrjadski. Within in this process, thousand-year-old knowledge was combined with most
modern technologies into one system, which captured the energy-management and therewith the
health-state of a cosmonaut before and after a space-travel.
This system had been in use in Russian space-travel for more than 15 years when in 1994 the company
MedPrevent obtained the licence to start the further development of the system. Today, through
regular updates we can offer a high-tech method with state-of-the-art software. The fundamental fact is
that the body is the measurement ‘device’ and with the help of the PROGNOS software, your therapist

2. Evaluation of the data: The different modules of the PROGNOS - software

The PROGNOS - program (in the latest version 5.6x) has been developed for over 10 years
continually.
The use is always simple and comfortable; enter patient data, start measurement, choose calculation
chart. Depending on the number of licensed modules, a variety of diagnosis and therapy assistants
exist.

Through the modular build up of the PROGNOS-systems, the content of the software can be fit
perfectly onto the requirements of the customer. For example dentists get a special diagnosis-module,
which has been developed for use in dental practices. The software elements can be practically
specified in the smallest detail (as seen in the graphic above).
