From Cloud Nine to China: Fabasoft Presents Cloud Platform in Chinese

Austrian’s Linz based software manufacturer Fabasoft is expanding its virtual data platform. The
platform can now also speak Chinese – simplifying participation for the users in the Far East
market.

Linz, Austria, April 07, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Austrian's Linz based software manufacturer Fabasoft is
expanding its virtual data platform. The platform can now also speak Chinese - simplifying participation
for the users in the Far East market.

Important business data is frequently exchanged with Chinese partners via e-mail, mobile hard drives and
memory sticks, which is not only impractical but also insecure. This is why data transfer requires data
protection mechanisms. One possibility is to tailor in-house networks entry points for external partners.
The Folio Cloud Team Rooms from Fabasoft are an elegant and immediately available solution for
minimizing security risk at low cost. Protected rooms provide a safe environment for reliable and secure
communication.

The new technology is specifically designed to make users' processes easier: Many global companies
have close relations with Chinese partners. Mutual understanding is therefore crucial and a tool that
facilitates and enhances communication, both on a technical and linguistic level, is invaluable.
Understanding one another is the key to successful business relations.

At present, one of the safest methods on the market is virtual data exchange in a Cloud to which only
authorized participants have access. The state-of-the art data protection mechanisms effectively prevent
unauthorized access, allowing users to easily and comfortably exchange large data volumes via network
drives or e-mail in a secure environment.

“Folio Cloud provides Team Rooms for international business collaboration,” Dipl.-Ing. Helmut
Fallmann, member of the Fabasoft management board, explains. “It is easy to define who has access.
Fabasoft also simplifies the communication: As a special service, every team member can use the user
interface in their own language. This extra speed and security translates into competitive advantages.”
Chinese partners can therefore choose to communicate in Chinese - Fabasoft is taking companies to
China on Cloud Nine.

There is one more decisive advantage: The data is saved in Fabasoft data centers and thus kept secured in
Europe, where European security and data protection standards apply. Access from China or other
countries is possible at any time via user defined security levels (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure
“https” or Certificate Based Authentication). http://www.fabasoft.com/china
