STARLIGHT FUN CENTER REPAIR MANUAL
The following sections define what troubleshooting and repair actions are to be taken for
specific symptoms. Each symptom must be addressed by the specific repair action for
that symptom.
Troubleshooting items to check (the “Check...” column) should be attempted in the order
presented for a symptom, that is, top to bottom. Numbering of repair actions in the
“Then...” column indicates the order in which the repair actions should be attempted.
Before calling the Starlight Children’s Foundation for assistance, use the table in section
2.2 “Fun Center Symptoms and Repair Actions” on page 2 and do the troubleshooting
checks and repair actions for the symptom(s) you are experiencing.
The tools needed for troubleshooting, which you also need when you call Starlight,
include:
• 5/32” pin-in-hex security wrench, to remove screws to access the main compart-
ment and TV input jacks
• Phillips screwdriver, to remove screws to access the lower pedestal maintenance

2.12 Connections of the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to the Controller Repeater
Modules
There are two configurations of Wii Remotes and controller repeater modules. Only the
correct combination of remote and controller repeater module will properly connect. The
Nunchuk will connect to either style of controller repeater module.
One style of remote and controller repeater module can be on one side of the Fun Center,
and the other style will work on the other side.
Both styles of remote and controller repeater module will work with any of the
configurations of controller dongle cable.
