Apperception:
 Teacher does the brainstorming by telling the
class about teacher’s family through picture.
 Teacher shows the picture of a family and
invites students altogether to describe the family in the picture.
 Teacher refreshes the students’ mind about the
previous lesson by asking them about the generic structure of descriptive text.
 Teacher tells the students that the topic today is
descriptive text about family.
Main Activity:
 Teacher explains how to describe the family.
 Teacher invites the students to mention the members of the family written
in the text book.
 Students are asked to pay attention to the family tree in the book and
teacher invites the students to mention every member of the family in the
family tree.
 Teacher invites the students to read the text related to the family tree.
 Students are assigned to draw their family tree
 Teacher invites the students to explain their family tree in front of the
class.
 Teacher invites the students to read the dialog in the book as the model in
turn.
 Teacher divides the students into pairs.
 Students are assigned to create a dialogue describing their family
 Students are assigned to perform the dialogue in front of the class
(Evaluation).
Closing
 Teacher reviews “how to describe family” together with the students.
 Teacher asks unclear points in descriptive of person.

the homework and assigns the students to learn about activity at home, and
bring the pictures about it.
