Flatterland
Flatterland is a book written by Ian Stewart, the brief was
to Re- design the book to make it more interesting and
engaging to read but still in a conventional way. I made
a series of newspapers that broke down the book into 7
separate newspapers with Monday — Friday containing
2 chapters and Saturday and Sunday both containing 4
chapters completing the full book of 18 chapters. The
newspapers that where type set are Monday & Friday and I
have made the front cover for each days newspaper so you
can view them as a full set.
On the back of each issues there is a full list of each days
chapters and a website link for if you miss any of the issues
and want to order them online so you can guarantee you
can get the whole collection.
LBi - Lost Boys International
Our concept for the L.B.i was to create a visual display
made from words which we applied to the letters of
the company. The words we used make up the large LBi
letter forms. Each word can be then teared off from it, and
put into a set of three to be used to send as business cards
to LBi clients making up a funny/weird random message.
It offers a large variety of meanings and words can be
swapped and changed to suit.
The letterhead design shows how the words make up the
much larger LBi image, this image shows how the large
letter forms could be used as a possible display feature
within the offices at LBi.

Derby Brewing Company
Whilst working at Blue Nectar I worked on the re-brand
and re-labelling of a local brewery called Derby Brewing
Company. The client wanted a totally new label range
designing and the branding to be re-designed but still
have elements of the ram as this is a key icon for Derby.

The new design uses vibrant tones to stand out on shelf

with there being a lot of different ales on market. There is
also a raised varnish on the front label that adds tactility
and gives the label that extra stand out.

The Derby Brewing Company are currently in the process

of expanding their ale range world wide and increasing
their presence in the off trade.
Clear Coach
Whilst working at Blue Nectar I worked on the branding & website of
Clear Coach - business coaching

Clear Coach provides professional one-to-one coaching to corporate leaders

and business owners.

The Director of Clear Coach, Steve Kennedy had a strict colour palette within
which he briefed us to work, the three central colours from within the rainbow.
The brand identity had to be modern and clutter free, with a website which he
was able to easily amend and update via a WordPress based CMS.
