COURSE CONTENTS
This workshop aims to introduce its audience with the art of Sim ulations 3:00 P.M. TO 6:00 P.M.
in MATLAB and will arm you with the s kills to s imulate any
communication s ystem , keeping wireless c ommunic ations as a foc al

INSTRUCTOR’S PROFILE
Dr. Fahim Aziz Umrani is currently working as a Lecturer in the Department of Telecommunication Mehran UET, Jamshoro. He is working on current position since
September 2004. He has a PhD degree from United Kingdom in Optical communications and Bachelor’s degree in Electronics from Pakistan, earned in 2010 and
2004 respectively. He has more than two dozens of research publications including eleven published journal papers, 8 conferences, and one book. He is also the
founding member of 2KES Scholarship Foundation supporting the financially disadvantaged but bright students to graduate from Mehran UET. He is also the
Editor of FEECE e-Newsletter, a monthly newsletter from Mehran UET. His research areas include Wireless communications, Optical Communications, and Signal
Processing.
Pre-Registration and Cancellation Policy: Pre-registration for workshop on Simulating
Wireless Communication Systems using MATLAB is required. Cancellations will be honored with a full
refund if received two (2) business days prior to workshop. Registrations received after the
registration deadline will be charged an additional fee of Rs. 100. No-shows and cancellations after
the registration deadline will be charged the full price of the workshop.
