However, it is easy to counteract this affect through a simple hanging exercise because it lets the
weight of your lower torso stretch your spine and reduce the tension between your vertebrae.
In fact, hanging has been known to increase a person’s height by one to two inches.
You will want to have a horizontal bar that is high enough so that your body can fully extend. If
your body cannot fully extend, then bend your knees slightly until you hang freely.
When you grasp the bar, make sure your palms are facing away from you and your thumbs are
almost touching.
While you are hanging, try to keep your arms, shoulders, and hips are relaxed as possible. This
helps gravity pull on your body even further. Try to hang for at least 20 seconds and repeat the
process when you are able to grip the bar again.
You should also repeat this exercise a minimum of three times. Also, if you wear ankle weights
while hanging you will get an increased benefit.
Dry Land Swim – Also known as the Alternate Leg Kick, this exercise focuses on your lower back.
You will want to start this exercise by laying down flat on your stomach with your body fully
extended.
Put your arms straight out in front of you with your palms toward the floor. Raise your left arm
higher than your right arm. Then, keep your legs straight and lift your right leg off the ground as
far as you can.
Try to hold that position for at least 4 seconds before gently lowering your leg and raising the
other leg. Your goal should be to work up to holding the position for 20 seconds. Also, adding
wrist and ankle weights to your workout will increase resistance and tone your lower back
muscles even more.
Pelvic Shift – This exercise is a favourite of fitness instructors all over. It is simple, but you will
quickly feel the stretching that occurs up and down your spine and in your hips.
You will want to begin the exercise by lying on your back with your shoulders and arms planted
firmly on the floor. Bend your knees and draw your feet as close to your buttock as you can.
Next, arch your back so that your pelvis thrusts upward.
Hold this position for at least 20 seconds and try to work up to holding it for 30 seconds. As you
repeat this move, you should feel more and more stretching in your front hips.
It is always a good idea to check with your doctor before beginning any exercise regiment to
make sure your body is healthy enough for this activity.
Strenuous exercises, like these grow taller exercises to increase height, should be done
consistently but you should start slowly if you are a beginner. You can increase the intensity of
your workout as your body becomes accustomed to each new exercise.

i wan get teller .i am 18 years old
And a tip/my secret to get taller fast is calf raise everyday 200 of them or more!
dont ever give up… you soon know when… just do it…. yeahaha

I am already doing some gravity exercises like pulling the upper and lower parts of my body by
balancing over a “L-Shape” corner with my hands and letting my body weight fall towards ground
without touching the ground. I can also feel the stretch. I wish i can make a few more inches
before i`m 30…
FIRST!!! I’ll talk again about what we’ve all known already:
-Eat health( Milk, cheese…….)
-Exercises
+Swimming
+Jumping(basketball or just jump)^^
+Stretching(you all know what you have to do…if not…please read this topic)
+Running
-Sleeping: you have to sleep at least 7-8 hours per. 9-10 is PERFECT. You should sleep more at
night from 10pm to 6am the following day. 8 hours for a night is perfect, then you can rest at noon
if you want. Sleeping at night is very important. Do you know why??? Because growth hormone
activate when we sleep at night. Do you guys realize that we’re all taller every day??? We’re all
taller from 1-1.5 inch after we wake up from a long sleep, but after 1-2 hours we’ll come back to
normal(we’re get shorter and return to our real height) That the point. It improves that your body
will stretch when you sleeping.
You all know about this….but I just want to remind you…..you have to do it if you want to grow
taller. I know somebody who really wants to be taller and they know what you know….they know
what to do….but they won’t. I was one of them…..So I don’t want you become like that. Take you
chance. UNDERSTAND.
SECOND: I will tell you guys about what I know and you guys don’t know^^
- You drink milk every day, you eat the meal with a lot of CALCIUM. Why??? Of course !!! you
want to be taller. But you have to know that….just some percents of calcium from what you eat
can be absorbed in to your body…..and just few percents of them can make your bone
longer……If you want to absorb more and more CALCIUM from your meal….you need VITAMIN
D. Where can you find vitamin D….what we have to eat to absorb vitamin D……The vitamin D is
included a lot in the sunshine. You should spend 15-25 minutes in the sunshine from 8am-10am.
DO NOT take longer, and located outside the period in which I defined. I don’t want your skin are
harmed, and you too. Furthermore, mushroom contain a lot of vitamin D.
-If you’re old…it’ll be difficult to get taller….and if you’re too old….it’ll be impossible….Except you
use some medicines or iBST hormone, growth hormone ….I really don’t want to talk about
that….I don’t think it’s save for you…..IF SOME OF YOU’RE 30 OR OVER….I CAN HELP YOU.
30 is impossible to grow…you know that….except you become younger…..Do you thing become
younger is impossible too??? The answer is NO. I exercise the “Ancient Secret of the Fountain of
Youth”. Have you heard about it??? It can help you become younger and then you can be taller.
Search it on internet. It helps me so much. I promise myself that: if someday I’ll be taller, I’ll tell
everyone about that. That day has come. When I begin, I was 18, and my height is 1.64cm….too
short(when I was 15 my height was 1.63m)….now I’m 19 I feel I become younger, and my height
is 1.70….and I keep promise. I still become younger and taller……. and you’ll.
I know they always say that you’re a bit taller after sleeping/laying down for 8 hours, but it’s
actually quite a difference. When I left the above post yesterday, as I mentioned, I was 5′ 6″. To
be exact, I was a bit over 5′ 6″ but not quite 5′ 6.5″.
Well, when I got out of bed this morning, Had breakfast and then went and measured myself
again. My morning measurement is 5′ 7″ on the dot.
Now if only I could stop gravity from destroying this little bit extra. Perhaps exercises such as
those mentioned in this blog will be sufficient enough to toughen up my spine. We’ll see.
i used to be 5’7 dot until last year since i was swimming at regular pace but since one year due to
work pressure, poor sleeping habits and diet am back to 5’6
i was shocked and notice the same when i went to photographer for passport size photos i would
feel that am sitting straight but actually in the real image it would appear that am titled to the right
side
i am 31 now
am starting these exercises plus back to swimming and will let you the results in next 6 months

I have a more complicated curve ball question here which is a tad more different than begging for
help. I would love an answer if you know it! When i was 18 was around 5′11 and perfectly content
with that.
But due to malnutrition from having a Whipple procedure and then 2/3 of my lower intestine got
blocked at age 25 and had to be removed so i’m lucky to absorb 1/2 the proteins i eat. I have kept
getting shorter and and am still getting lighter since then. Is there anything i can do to get my
height back to normal? I know the weight problems are a GI’s issue. That’s why i only mean to
talk about the height as i’ve lost 3-4 inches.
Will the eating, swimming, stretching, etc still work for me as well? I’m 31 and bought an inversion
table to hang upside down from, it always makes my back feel stretched out but I’m not positive it
works. Any advice would make more than my day if you could possibly answer me?
these exercises are great as i tried them with my patients. persons below age 18 can benefit
more. persons above 18 will get minimal increase which is actually resulting from corrected
posture after exercising. middle age and older person should keep doing these exercises plus
others to preserve their bone stock and avoid osteoporosis and height loss which results from
vertebral collapse and compression. good luck

- eat foods that have less sugars and fats, but more vitamins, minerals and calories an so on.
-do stretches that ease tension in your spine (this will loosen your spine and let more cartilage
grow wich make you grow), but also do other strtches for your legs and arms and neck.
- do donky kicks- get on all fours then slowly raise one of your legs until it is level with the rest of
your body, do this 20 times on 1 leg then switch to the other leg ATTENTION GIRLS!!
