BERNARD OF CLAIRVAUX CATHOLIC SCHOOL

SCHOOL ADVISORY COUNCIL

SCHOOL YEAR 2011-2012 ELECTIONS

Dear Parishioner or School Child Parent:

Your School Advisory Council is currently comprised of seven members guided by Fr.
Walter Mallo. This year there are three seats which terms will expire at the end of June and
one seat will become vacant with two years remaining on its term. To fill the positions for the
coming year, the following election procedure will be employed.

Each new member will serve a 3 year term. The vacant position will be for a two year term.
The annual term of membership is from July 1st to June 30th of the following year. The terms
are staggered so that member’s terms will expire each year. Members may not serve more than
two terms consecutively.

To provide the greatest opportunity to participate in the elections, Fr. Mallo and the
Council decided to conduct the elections following the procedures and schedule
presented on the attached page.

Sincerely,

School Advisory Council
