9.00am Starting point: the Obelisco, placed on 9 de

Julio, avenue with two boulevards, considered
the widest in the world. Through Roque Sáenz Peña
Av. (Diagonal Norte) you can reach Plaza de Mayo, City’s
foundational centre. On the way, we recommend you to pass by
CIT at Florida and Diagonal Norte (and buy the Tourist Bus
ticket, which you can use during the whole day). There you
will find the most important historic places and buildings. It is
enough to stroll over the square to watch them: Catedral
Metropolitana (San Martín on the corner of Av. Rivadavia), the
Government of the City of Buenos Aires Palace (Bolívar 1),
the Cabildo (Bolívar 65), the Casa Rosada (Balcarce 50).

Keep on walking towards San Telmo, one of the

a walk through San Telmo’s market, which keeps the

Recoleta: one of the most exclusive
areas of Buenos Aires. There, it is worthwhile to visit the
Cemetery, where you will find the tombs of Eva Perón, Adolfo
Bioy Casares and Facundo Quiroga, among others.
Another place to visit: Iglesia del Pilar (Junín 1890).

6.00pm To end the day, take a stroll across Palermo Viejo, area
in the vanguard of art, design and gastronomy.
Palermo is ideal for window shopping and for choosing a
gourmet cuisine option: the best way to finish an intense

9.00am You can start your tour by bicycle or on

foot through Palermo forests. It is the most
important green area of the City, offering a recreational space
ideal for strolling or practicing sports. There you may visit the
Rosedal and the Lake and, afterwards, you can reach the
Japanese Garden. From this point and walking
straight through Figueroa Alcorta Ave., you will get
to the MALBA (Museum of Latin American Art of
Buenos Aires).

12.00am Malba, whose modern building houses

a permanent Argentine and Latin
American Modern Art exhibition, is a must. It is located in
Palermo Chico, an area of mansions and embassies (please
don’t miss to tour around this distinguished neighborhood).

2.00pm By taxi to Retiro you can appreciate the Avenida del

Libertador in all its splendor. It is surrounded by
1900’s buildings and palaces and immersed in the green of its
parks. On arriving at Torre Monumental and Retiro Stations,

City’skyscraper) and Marriot Plaza Hotel, built to
lodge visitors to the celebrations of the First 100th Anniversary
of Revolución de Mayo (May Revolution). Once in this

with their tables on the sidewalk, distributed all over
Reconquista Street, a new pedestrian area offering an

4.00pm Walking through Reconquista towards Córdoba

shopping at Galerías Pacífico, magnificent mall famous for its
impressive dome gathering frescos by Antonio Berni, Lino
Spilimbergo, Juan Carlos Castagnino, Demetrio Urruchúa and
Manuel Colmeiro.

Florida Street, you can reach Avenida Corrientes, full of

is the federal capital of the Republic of Argentina. It
extends upon a flat surface divided in 48
neighborhoods.
It has approximately 3 million inhabitants who,
together with the metropolitan area population which
