Objectives: Within 8 hours of clinical duty as student head nurse at MJ Santos Hospital (Pedia Ward), I will be able to:
1. Take part in the endorsement done by the staff nurses of the night shift;
2. Conduct a pre and post conference with my respective staff nurses;
3. Remind my staff nurses about their assigned patients and to note special endorsements;
4. Collect daily written requirements and check paraphernalias of my staff nurses;
5. Facilitate nursing rounds together with my staff nurses;
6. Check for sample SOAPIE / METHOD as well as their charts to check for doctor’s orders;
7. Endorse to the hospital staff nurses regarding all the interventions carried out within our shift.
