SR. MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, PROCESS INSTRUMENTATION

AND CONTROLS DESIGNER/PROJECT MANAGER
~ 19+ Years Experience in Design Engineering of Electrical Process
Instrumentation & Control Systems and Project Management ~

~ 5 Years Experience in Mechanical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic System Design ~

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

Senior Mechanical, Electrical, Process Instrumentation and Controls Designer, Systems Integrator and Project
Engineer and Manager with a well established record of profitably managing all aspects of multiple concurrent
projects. Possess innate ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies. Recognize and understand the
importance of remaining "hands-on" and accountable for all aspects of each project assigned to me. Two of my
most noted accomplishments to date were for SCADA/DCS/PLC/HMI Systems installed at Water Treatment
Plants in S.W. Ohio. One in which I spearheaded a small team of design engineers to completely replace a
partially operational SCADA/Telemetry System (proprietary in which a company that we represented failed to
install a system to the customers specifications/requirements) with a new Rockwell RSView
HMI/SCADA/PLC/Telemetry System in an extremely short time frame, saving my company from the possibility
of a lawsuit as well as meeting the customer’s specifications and requirements. The other was for privately
owned Water Company's system which I designed and implemented a Wonderware InTouch Master/Slave
HMI/SCADA System which was integrated into an existing proprietary Telemetry System. My core strengths lie
in estimating, bidding and design of custom control panels, equipment layouts, bill of materials, one line, ISA
loop, JIC ladder, equipment mounting/layout and cable/conduit riser diagrams, P&ID's, detailed technical control
loop strategies, SCADA, DCS, HMI, PLC and Telemetry development/programming and database generation as
well as selection and specification of required process instrumentation (i.e.: flow, level, temp., pressure,
analytical, etc.) and associated controls for pumps, motors, VFD’s, electric actuated valves, etc. Possess
excellent communications and time management skills in addition to the ability to work independently or in a
team of cross-functional, multi-disciplinary individuals.
