ACADEMIC PROGRAMME

More than fifty per cent of the total development expenditure in India is in the construction sector. The last
decade is characterized by initiation of several mega projects, both in the public & private sectors. With the
new policy of the Government it is expected that the coming decades should witness large scale investment
in the Indian economy by multinational companies as well as their Indian counterparts. Further with massive
investments by International financing and funding agencies, we should experience unprecedented activities
in the construction sector. In addition to advanced construction technology, a substantial input from
management sector will also be necessary. In a global economy environment, Indian construction
organizations in the private and public sectors will need well trained construction and project managers not
only for their Indian operations but for international operations as well.
