Founded in the early 70's, The Gospel Choir at USF has served as a ministry pillar on the cam-

pus of University of South Florida. The Gospel Choir was designed to encourage, inspire, and
uplift everyone they ministered to through the God given talents. The Gospel Choir provides an
atmosphere that will encourage and direct student interest toward better spiritual enrichment
with in the community. They are a group of young adults on fire for God, ready to praise and
worship through song!

Why is it important to the Students?

The Gospel Choir serves as another way to release the stress of everyday college life. Since most students are at USF away from
their home towns, the Gospel Choir has proven to be a family away from home giving USF a “home” feeling of its own. Many of the current
member already look to the Gospel Choir as a positively influential part of their college career.
