A note to you:
It’s spring revival time again. As I get older it seems the time for revivals come quicker each year. I heard
someone say the other day that true revivals are not happening anymore. Churches are having revivals with no
salvations or no rededications. True, we don’t seem to see the great numbers we used to see make decisions in
revivals.
But we must realize that revival is an individual decision that each of us must make on our own. Even if
the churches don’t see a great revival, we can still experience our own personal revival of a closer walk with Jesus.
A rededication to personal prayer and studying our Bible that we individually can make.
Dr. A. W. Tozer wrote the following about revival: “ One consequence of our failure to see clearly the true
nature of revival is that we wait for years for some supernatural manifestation that never comes, overlooking
completely our own individual place in the desired awakening. Whatever God may do for a church must be done
in the single unit, the one certain man or woman. Some things can happen only to the isolated, single person; they
cannot be experienced en masse.
Statistics show, for instance, that 100 babies are born in a certain city on a given day. Yet the birth of each
baby is for that baby a unique experience, an isolated, personal thing. Fifty people die in a plane crash; while they
die together they die separately, one at a time, each one undergoing the act of death in a loneliness of soul as utter
as if he alone had died. Both birth and death are experienced by the individual in a loneness as complete as if only
that one person had ever known them.
Three thousand persons were converted at Pentecost, but each one met his sin and his Savior alone. The
spiritual birth, like the natural one, is for each one a unique, separate experience shared in by no one. And so with
that uprush of resurgent life we call revival. It can come to the individual only. Though a visitation of divine life
reaches seventy five persons at once (as among the Moravian Brethren at Dusseldorf), yet it comes to each one
singly. There can exist no collective body of believers that can be revived apart from the units that
compose the body.
Understood aright these are truths full of great encouragement and good hope. Nothing can hinder you or
me from experiencing the revival we need. It is a matter for God and the solitary heart. Nothing can prevent the
spiritual rejuvenation of the soul that insists upon having it. Though that solitary man must live and walk among
persons religiously dead, he may experience the great transformation as certainly and as quickly as if he were in
the most spiritual church in the world.”
While our country needs revival and many of our churches need revival, let’s remember any revival has to
start with you and with me.

CAMP REPORT-Getting the camp ready for the camp season. Lots to
do and your help is needed.
SEMI-ANNUAL REPORT– Approved new Constitutions and
Bylaws, Officers and Committees for 2010- 2011, and 2011-2012
Association Budget.
ALLANSVILLE– Two Women attended the KY WMU Annual Mtg. in
Bowling Green on Mar. 26-26. Easter Passion Play on Friday April 22,
and Sat. April 23 at 7PM. Everyone is welcome. Getting ready for VBS
on June 5-9.
BEECH GROVE– Making plans for VBS-Hometown Nazareth. Will
have Sunrise Service with breakfast following April 24th.
BOONES CREEK-Our Annual Mother/Daughter Brunch will be Sat.
May 7-2011 at 10am. Our special quest speaker will be Dana Bledsoe.
Dana is the true testament of the power of God in our lives. This will be
an inspirational talk you won’t want to miss.
CALVARY-No Report
CENTRAL-”CHILDREN OF THE WORLD” Children’s Choir will be
at Central on Sunday May 15 for the 10:45 Worship Service.
CLAY CITY– Children’s Easter Hunt Sat 23rd. Sunrise Service
7am, Breakfast afterwards April 24th.
CORINTH-No Report
COW CREEK-Finished experiencing God study. Meal
afterwards. Movie night April 10th. Easter Egg Hunt April 24,
2011- 4pm at the Farris home.
EMMANUEL-We Collected items for an Easter Care Package
for CSM Shane Byrd, serving in IRAQ. Shane is the son-in-law
of Barbara & Otis Stanfield and we join them in support of Shane
with our prayers and thanks for his service to our Country.
EPHESUS-Had a work day at church Mar. 19th. Youth attended
Associational Youth Rally at Boone’s Creek BC March 19th.
Outreach day was held April 2, in conjunction with Find-it Here
2011. Easter activities are scheduled April 24 including SONrise
Service and breakfast at 8:30 and an Easter Egg Hunt following
morning Worship Services. Spring Revival will be held May
15-18 at 7PM with Dr. Art Beasley as the evangelist and special
music by Wayne and Anne Hunter.
FAITH– Had planning for Church. Set date for Revival,
Homecoming and Special Service. Sunrise Service at 7:30am for
Apr. 24th. Bob Young will be at Church April 10th for singing.
Gave out packets for Church attendance. Going to Passion Play at
Gardenside in Lexington, Apr. 17th.
FRIENDSHIP– Working on getting a van. Sunrise Service
6:30am/ Men’s Breakfast April 24. Getting ready to pass out
pamphlets for Find it Here. Planning VBS
GREENBRIAR–Mackenzie Richardson, almost 8, gave her life
to the Lord 3-13-11. Sunday School teacher Bonnie takes the kids
to McDonalds after Church once a month with Sunday School
offerings. Easter Egg Hunt-4-23-11 Sat. before Easter. All
members bring eggs 7 prizes. Church purchasing baskets for any
kids that doesn’t have one.
HEIDELBERG–No Report
HERITAGE-We have focused our outreach neighborhood close
to the High School. We prayer-walked this area and are now
going door-to-door. Our youth have begun a special study on
Spiritual Gifts. We will be having a Children’s Easter Egg Hunt
immediately following our Easter Morning Worship Service.
HOWARDS MILL-No Report
IRVINE FIRST-Tue. Apr. 5-6:30 pm men’s work night, we
need all men to be here. Wed, Apr. 6-5:30pm sunshine ladies
mtg. lots of fun, try to attend also 7pm prayer mtg. & bible
study. Wed. Apr. 13-7pm bus. mtg. and bible study. Wed. Apr.
20-5:30pm sunshine ladies. Sat. Apr. 23-12:00p, Easter Egg Hunt
for all the children. Sun. May 8-10am hat day and strange ties day.
Also 12pm Church Meal-all kinds of dishes made with chicken.
Come & eat with us. Wed. May 11-7pm Bus. Mtg. Wed. May 18-
5:30pm sunshine ladies mtg. & meal also 7pm prayer mtg. Tue.
May 24-5:30pm Church wide visitation. Please attend.
IVORY HILL-Had a birthday supper and Special Singing on
Mar. 27. Had good attendance and listened to New Found Four’s
Singing. Will be having a egg hunt for the children on April 23 at
2pm. Will be having Sunrise Service and Breakfast afterwards at
7 am on Apr. 24th. Will be having a Easter program by our youth
this year. Making plans for VBS which will on June 19th thru June
24th.
JEFFERSONVILLE-Our Monthly Church work days are going
good. 2 excellent baby showers for mothers to be. Had several to
attend the Youth Rally. Ten Commandments Plaque put in front of
Church and above piano donated by Glenn & Kay Liggett. Had a
Fiesta Dinner 3-27-11 after PM service. Easter Dinner April 17.
Community Wide Easter Egg Hunt for the children, fellowship of
all ages. Planning trip to the Creative Museum April 30. Choir
working on music for the hymn sing at Macedonia April 25th.
KIDDVILLE-No Report
MACEDONIA-Artie Amburgery and Bill Shoemaker preached
Mar. 27th while Bro. Kevin was on Vac. Several members
attended the KBC Financial Mtg. at Northside on Mar. 17th. Our
Church is hosting the Assoc. Hymn Sing on April 25th. Working
on VBS.
MEANS-Doing the 2011 Find it Here Program, and the Choir has
a special presentation for Resurrection Sunday Service. Began
plans for a Late Spring Revival and for a VBS sports camp.

NEW HOPE-New Hope has a new pastor, Bro Randy Stone.

NORTHSIDE-No Report
PANOLA-Working on our Easter Cantata “Jesus-The One and
Only. Mother’s Day-Men will serve the ladies a meal.
POWELLS VALLEY–Our youth and leaders attended Winter
Jam on the 12th. The Food Ministry prepared and delivered 200
meals on Mar. 26th. Our ladies in WMU have started an ongoing
project of visiting with the shut-ins in the community. We are
planning an Easter Service on Easter Sunday around 7am with the
breakfast afterwards. Revival is planned April 28th-May 1st with
Bro. Don Mathis, Evangelist. Services at 7pm nightly and Sunday
at 11am and 6pm. Special Singing each night. High attendance
Sunday is scheduled for May 1st.
PROVIDENCE, C.C.–Hosted Pastor/Spouse Dinner. Youth
attended Winter Jam. Plan Easter Breakfast.
PROVIDENCE, E.C.-Easter Family Day planned for the April
the 23rd. The Ladies are having a Night Out with a meal and
“Fashion Show” on the 6th of May. The Men are planning a
breakfast on the 30th of April and then are taking care on the
Service on May 1st. Please continue to remember our Church in
your prayers as we are seeking a pastor
REID VILLAGE-No Report
SALEM-Several couples attended:”Laugh Your Way to a Better
Marriage” conference at First Baptist Church in Richmond, KY.
Looking forward to Revival with Brother Todd Rader, Pastor at
Ephesus Baptist Church, April 14-17th.

ongoing need for baby wipes, diapers (sizes 4, 5, 6) and
formula (Good Start in green and orange cans), as well as
