Subject: Using Glogster in the Classroom
Audience: High school educators

Stage 1 – Desired Results

Standards Addressed:

NETS for Teachers


Design and Develop Digital-Age Learning Experiences and Assessments
Teachers design, develop, and evaluate authentic learning experiences and assessments
incorporating contemporary tools and resources to maximize content learning in context and to
develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes identified in the NETS•S.

Stage 3 - Learning Plan

. Learning Activities:
1. Leader will greet participants and announce session topic. (What,Where)

3. Leader will explain that Glogster is an electronic poster generating tool that can be used
in various ways in the educational setting. Discussion will include an overview of the
educational version of this tool, as well. (What,Where)
4. Leader will show participants how to set up their own Glogster accounts and log in.

5. Leader will show sample glogs that she has created as well as some student-created
glogs. She will explain the different components of the glogs. (Equip)
6. Leader will create a glog, showing participants how to add text, images, videos, etc. to
their own projects. (Equip)
7. There will be a brainstorming session/discussion of ideas for using Glogster in the
classroom. (Tailor)
