English Club has arranged a meeting for the first activity. The meeting was on
Saturday , 23rd February 2008 at 09.30 a.m. This first meeting involved all the English
Society members of Sk. Muhibbah at 6 Zuhrah class.

The Senior assistant of Sk. Muhibbah, Pn. Romlah, arranged this formal meeting
mainly to introduce the new members especially for Year 3 and followed by the old
members with their club and also with the teachers.

The meeting was talking about :

a. Introducing new members of the club.
b. The new English Committee 2008
c. Main / Yearly activities.
d. Fee
e. Venue
f. Schedule

Some of the members were present and hoping that they could give their fully
support to make this club successful for the whole year.

THE WOLF AND THE LAMB.
Once upon a time, there was a flock of sheep grazing in the
pastures. The land was very beautiful and the air was refreshing. It was
near a thick forest.

The pack of sheep protected by a sheep of dogs. All the dogs

were very clever. The knew how to protect the sheep especially from
wild animals.

One day, a little lamb saw a very delicious grass near the forest.
The little lamb was eager to eat the grass over there. So, it walked,
walked, walked and walked and didn’t realized that it was strayed
away from the flock.

Then, a pair of red eyes saw and followed slowly to the little
lamb. It followed the lamb and thought ,

“I’ll have that lamb for my lunch”.

Oh…… no. It was a wolf !

Then, the little lamb saw the wolf followed him.

“Oh my god. I’ll be finished this time. Oh…oh….oh….”

“Oh god, please help me, please”
“What am I supposed to do ? May be if I could make some noise
and get the attention of the dogs nearby, I will be save,” said the little
lamb to itself.

Then he thought of a plan. Meanwhile, the wolf was ready to

attack him.

“Stop! Stop! Stop! My dearest handsome friend, I know you’re

going to eat me but please handsome, would you grant me one last
wish before you eat me ? Just once, pleaaaaaase ?” begged the little
lamb to the wolf.

“Hmmmmm let me see. Since you’re calling me handsome, ok

then. But remember. Only once ! Then after that I’ll eat you,” said the
wolf.

“Ok…Ok….Ok…! I promised,” said the lamb.

 “So, what is your last wish, anyway?” said the wolf.

“You are a handsome and good looking wolf. Then, I think you
must have a very nice voice, aren’t you ? So, can you please sing me a
wonderful song ? I would like to hear it and dance for one last time,”
praised the little lamb to the wolf.
“How do know that I have a very nice voice in this kingdom? Oh,
never mind. Ok, I agree,” said the stupid wolf.

Then the wolf started to howl loudly.

Hou…Hou….Hou…Hou….Hou….

The little lamb started dancing and pretended laughing happily

eventhough it was the worst sound he had ever heard.

Meanwhile, the sheep of dogs heard the wolf’s and the lamb’s
voice. They ran as fast as they could to the voice.

When they saw the wolf, they quickly chased the wolf away from
the little lamb.

The clever little lamb was saved and ran back to his family and
never tried to walked far from his family again.

The moral from this story is, my friends, It is better to be meek

and wise than strong but foolish.

During the Bulan Bahasa, another activity has been carried out. It was called
“FUN GAMES” for Level 1 and Level 2. There were 2 types of games for level 1 and 3
types of games for level 2. Pupils need to buy the games from their English teacher for
only 20 cent each. All the presents has been given out during the Closing Ceremony on
10th May 2008.

TUGAS DAN TANGGUNGJAWAB PENASIHAT

PERSATUAN DAN KELAB.

Bidang Tugas :

1. Menggalakkan semuia pelajar di sekolah untuk menjadi

ahli dalam sesebuah persatuan dan kelab.

2. Menggubal peraturan, undang-undang dan

perlembagaan bagi semua persatuan dan kelab.
3. Menubuh jawatankuasa pelajar bagi persatuan dan
kelab .

4. Menentukan ahli-ahli jawatankuasa yang telah dipilih

itu melaksanakan tugas dan tanggungjawab mereka
mengukut perlembagaan.

5. Merancang program dan aktiviti persatuan yang bakal

dijalankan bagi sesuatu tahun itu mengikut semester
dengan kerjasama jawatankuasa pelajar.

6. Menyerahkan program kegiatan tahunan itu kepada

guru penyelaras gerakerja ko-kurikulum pada tarikh
yang telah ditetapkan.

7. Menentukan tiap-tiap aktiviti yang telah dirancang itu

dijalankan mengukut jadual dan berjalan dengan
teratur dan lancar.

8. Menghadiri tiap-tiap mesyuarat atau perjumpaan dan

kegiatan yang berada di bawah jagaannya.

9. Menjaga kewangan persatuan, wang runcit dan harta

benda persatuan dan menentukan semuanya
digunakan untuk kebaikan ahli-ahli persatuan itu
sendiri.

10. Menyediakan anggaran perbelanjaan dan

pendapatan persatuan di bawah kelolaannya.

11. Mengiringi tiap-tiap rombongan yang diaturkan

oleh persatuannya dan jikalau tidak dapat bersama dia
hendaklah mencari wakil atau penggantinya.

12. Membuat laporan bagi tiap-tiap kegiatan persatuannya

dengan menyatakan tentang tarikh, masa, tempat,
jenis kegiatan, kehadiran ahli dan guru dan program
aktiviti yang diadakan itu dari mula hingga ke akhir.
 13. Menyerahkan program aktiviti tahunan persatuan
kepada penyelaras gerak kerja kurikulum pada awal
tiap-tiap semester.

14. Menyediakan dan menyerahkan laporan kejayaan

aktiviti dalam tempoh seminggu selepas aktiviti.

15. Menghias papan kenyataan persatuan secara

teratur dan mengelakkannya daripada di salahgunakan
oleh mana-mana pihak.

16. Menentukan kegiatan tiap-tiap persatuan itu

dijalankan seminggu sekali pada hari dan masa yang
ditetapkan dalam program aktiviti tahunan.

17. Memastikan tiap-tiap pelajar memiliki Buku Rekod

Kegiatan Ko-Kurikulum dengan mencatatkan butiran
yang kemas kini.

18. Menyerahkan Buku Rekod Kegiatan Ko-Kurikulum

Pelajar kepada penyelaras ko-kurikulum pada akhir
tiap-tiap semester untuk semakan.
