Surrendering Tally.ERP9 through online 

If you want to install or use Tally on another computer or wish to make changes to
your hardware such as hard disk or removable storage devices, operating system to
be reinstalled or reactivate Tally.ERP9 license on any other computer or reactivate
the Tally.ERP9 license on any other site, it is recommended to surrender the license
from your computer, before initiating these changes. 

If the computer is connected to internet connection. 

Follow the steps given bellow: Enter the Administrator email ID

as shown bellow : Press enter on My Tally.Net accounts. After press, enter on
account ID. As shown bellow. Now press enter on licensing and Configuration. It will
show the status of the Tally serial Number. Press space bar on status area, you will
get an option active/Surrender.Press enter on Surrender.After you will get message
license surrender successfully 

 Reactivation of license: 

To reactivate a license, follow the steps shown  In the Startup screen . Select Reactivate
License. The Reactivate License form appears.Enter the E-Mail ID of the Site/Account
Administrator to reactivate the License. Note: In case the user is an Administrator for
more than a one site or an account, the Reactivate Multisite Resolution screen appears
displaying the list of sites for the respective Administrator. Select the required
surrendered site to reactivate it. When the E-Mail ID of the Account Administrator for single site
or the E-Mail ID of the respective site administrator is provided the system will proceed to
reactivate the license. Enter the required password. The completed Reactivate License form
appears as shown   The Reactivate License Resolution screen appears as shown.   Select
the required site from the List of Sites displayed Note: On choosing to reactivate an
Active site, Tally.ERP 9 prompts an error message displaying the System Details,
License Path where the license was last activated and suggests the user to surrender the
license using the Control Centre before reactivating the respective Site.   Tally.ERP 9
displays the Reactivation Successful message which appears as shown:  On successful
reactivation the Gateway of Tally screen appears as shown:

Excel To Tally 7.2, 9 and ERP Bulk Entry With Quick
Ledger


Tally.erp 9 is one of the simplest accounting software,any person having a good

commerce background knowing basic of accounting can handle it easily however notice
people and esp. those who have a different back ground found it very difficult to create
ledger and post entries in tally.
Excel is the simplex Microsoft application and any one can handle it very very easy.
as in Excel, all you need is just to feel up the cells and save it!
So, what about if there is an utility that you type entries in excel then import the same in
tally ? Is it hard ?
yes really hard but I made it easy for you. I have developed an utility a very simple utility
for you guys now you don’t need to learn tally.
All you need is just download the utility. The utility is simply superb as per screen shot
shown in the figure, all you need is just to type your entries in excel sheet. then fill up the
required details and hit the import button and your entries will be posted direct to tally.
No worry to see if the ledger is not created in tally. The utility will check itself and if
ledger is not created, it will create the same automatically.

It is a utility which allows Tally Users to Export Bulk entry of Excel to Tally speedily.
Interesting Features:

How to Use:
1. Enter Required Details i.e. Tally Path, Data Path, Version of Tally, Name of Company,
Company No.
2. Always Click Generate Ledger List before Exporting new data in Tally\
2a. It will ask User Name and Password of Tally company
2b. Give User Name and Password (if any) else make those textbox empty (Wrong
Password will not allow to Export entry)
2c. In “Tally Open Delay Time” give No. of Second which tally takes to open
(approximate)
2d. In “Tally Generate Ledger Delay Time” give No. of Second which Tally takes to
Export Ledger (approximate) Generally it depends on No. of Ledger already their in
Tally.
3. Make data entry in Tally as usual
4. Click Export
5. If in data entry it finds ledger which are not their in Tally it will ask Group name of
those ledger
6. After giving Group name and opening balance (if any) click “Proceed”
7. Now it will ask User Name and Password of Tally company
8. Give User Name and Password (if any) else make those textbox empty (Wrong
Password will not allow to Export entry)
9. In “Tally Open Delay Time” give No. of Second which tally takes to open
(approximate)
10. Click Proceed
