THE POSITION (remuneration from HK$1.7 million to $2 million p.a.)

The CEO is the executive head of LSCM and reports to the Board of Directors. His or her main responsibilities are:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Non Theatrical Franchise (NTF) Forecasting:

á Work under the direction of the manager to determine the appropriate forecasting method, predictor variables and
statistical model validation techniques for NTF and DTV titles.

Responsibilities. Teaching a total of eighteen credit hours of applied production and operations management (POM) at the
undergraduate and graduate levels and applied business statistics and POM at the graduate level with courses in Fall 2011, Spring
2012, and Summer 2012 (through mid August 2012). A secondary teaching focus in information technology (IT) and/or business

systems for our complex operational processes. Operations is the backbone of our customer experience and unit economics, and

Reporting to the VP of Analytics, this role will be responsible for analytical leadership on all operations -related initiatives for Rent

Position Description:
The Division of Medical Physics in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University Of Maryland School Of Medicine is
recruiting a highly motivated individual for a full time Instructor position at its downtown c ampus. The department is an integral
component of the NCI designated, University of Maryland Greenebaum Cancer Center. The successful applicant will be
responsible for developing a research program in biomedical computing and computational science as it relates to the field of
oncology, including developing solutions to large-scale optimization problems and machine learning applications. In addition, this
position will teach, mentor and supervise junior staff (i.e. post docs & graduate assistants) to help t hem to understand/ translate

University of Maryland Medical System and two community practice centers. Services provided include conformal radiotherapy,
IMRT, cone-beam CT-guided radiotherapy, on-line portal imaging, stereotactic radiosurgery/radiotherapy and brachytherapy. The
Department of Radiation Oncology is currently equipped with state-of-the-art equipment including 1 Varian trueBEAM, 2 Varian
Trilogy, 2 Varian Clinac IX, 1 Varian 21EX, 2 Elekta SL linear accelerators, 3 multi -slice large bore CT simulators with 4D
capabilities, and 2 additional CT simulators. The department has access to clinical PET/CT and MR scanners. Campus-wide
shared resources include small-animal imaging CT, PET and MR scanners. Treatment planning systems from multiple vendors
include Philips, Varian, BrainLab, Prowess and Nucletron.

The Risk Analysis and Decision Support Systems Group (D-6) is seeking outstanding post doctoral candidates in operations

methods for analyzing, protecting and restoring infrastructures with large scale failures. D-6 performs basic and applied research
focused on homeland security and defense, especially in applications related to large scale networks and risk analysis. We

Security, Energy, and Defense.

We are looking for outstanding candidates to work on the development of new approaches for solving difficult optimization and

analytic tools to develop and evaluate a broad spectrum of analytics for large data sets. The Data Mining Analyst will work w ith
members of Waste Management's leadership team to identify and analyze business problems; as well as document, implement,
and present the technical information to various internal customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.


á Develop statistical models and methodologies to predict, quantify or forecast various operational and performance
metrics.
á Perform data analysis; develop algorithms and computational solutions as necessary to support the business units.
á Provide expertise and support when implementing model results in WM's ongoing business processes.
á Ensures data quality and reliability and provide feedback to business process owners and to the IT department.
á Identify new data sources that will maximize analytic capabilities for the various business units of WM.
á Observe current WM systems and processes, interacting with the appropriate personnel. Utilizing a variety of sources,
collect and analyze information to support the modeling and analysis
á Collaborate with WM leadership to identify, define, and solve a variety of problems and support various corporate
initiatives.
á Prepare management reports defining the problem; documenting the analysis and recommending courses of action in
order to determine the best outcomes.
á Develop business methods and procedures, including accounting systems, file systems, office systems, logistics systems,
and production schedules.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Minimal supervisory skills are required in this job.

Education and Experience


Required: Master's degree, or equivalent experience, in Economics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Computer
Science or similar area of study, and five or more years previous experience.

Preferred: 5+ years demonstrated experience in applying several data mining methods, developing algorithms, statistical analysis,
and developing predictive models.

Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

á Strong problem solving and analysis skills: ability to identify root causes of problems, create effective practical solution
approaches, implement solutions under the tactical demands of business operations.
á Demonstrated experience working with complex, large-scale data sets in an advanced data mining analytic role.
á Advanced practical knowledge and demonstrated experience of statistical models and methods.
á Demonstrated knowledge of large relational databases, and SQL programming.
á Demonstrated knowledge and working experience in SAS toolsets.
á Programming experience, preferably in C or C#
á Excellent communication capabilities: including written, interpersonal and presentation skills.
á Committed and motivated team player.
á Demonstrates a customer service mindset.
á Provides demonstrated work and familiarity with data mining and visualization tools.
á Experience working as part of an integrated solutions development team to provide value to systems engineering and
development for specific decision support application.
