Ár nAthair The Lord's Prayer

Ár nAthair, atá ar neamh go naofar d’ainm, go dtaga do ríocht, go ndéantar do thoil ar an talamh, mar a
dhéantar ar neamh. Ár n-arán laethúil tabhair dúinn inniu, agus maith dúinn ár bhfiacha, mar a
mhaithimidne dár bhféichiúna féin, agus ná lig sinn i gcathú, ach saor sinn ó olc. Óir is leatsa an ríocht
agus an chuacht agus an ghlóir trí shaol na saol. Amen.

Celebrant The Lord be with you

And also with you
Lift up your hearts
We have raised them up to the Lord
We give thanks to the Lord
It is right and fitting.

Celebrant: Look with kindness on Your people gathered here before You. Send
forth the power of Your Spirit so that these gifts may become for us the Body and
Blood of Your beloved Son, Jesus, the Christ, in whom we have become Your own.

All: Bless the King of all the earth! Holy, holy, holy Lord. God of power
and might, heaven and earth are full of Your glory, hosanna in the
highest.
Celebrant: O God You are always thinking about Your people. You never forget us.
You sent Your Son, Jesus, who gave His life for us and Who came to forgive us and
taught us to forgive each other.

All: Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the
highest.

Celebrant: On the night he was handed over to suffering and death, our Lord Jesus
Christ took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and gave it to his
disciples, and said, “Take, eat: This is my Body, which is broken for you. Do this
for the remembrance of me.”

In like manner, he also took the cup, again giving thanks to you, He blessed and
gave it to his disciples, saying: “Take, this cup is the new covenant in my blood.
This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me”. For as often as you eat
this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes.

Therefore, we proclaim the mystery of faith together:

Christ has died; Christ is risen; Christ will come again!
The peace of the Lord be with you always – And also with you
Show each other the sign of peace.

The Bread and the Cup are shared by all.

The Body of Christ, the bread of heaven. [Amen.]

The Blood of Christ, the cup of salvation. [Amen.]

Let us pray:
Arise today through the strength of Christ to love and shield you:
Christ be with you, Christ before you, Christ behind you
Christ be in you, Christ beneath you, Christ above you
Christ when you lie down, Christ when you sit,

Christ when you arise,

Christ in the heart of everyone who thinks of you,
Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of you,
Christ in every eye that sees you,
Christ in every ear that hears you
Christ be all in all. Amen

Celebrant: The Lord be with you. And also with you.

Let us go in peace to love and serve the Lord. Amen.
Go in peace to love and serve the Lord!
