RESUMO

Os estoques representam bens da empresa, disponíveis e necessários à

efetivação do negócio: sem eles, as organizações não vendem e,
consequentemente, não obtêm faturamento. Atualmente, devido à falta de
conhecimento dos gestores do setor comercial varejista, estes não sabem identificar
se a melhor opção para o negócio é maximizar ou minimizar os estoques. Sem
planejamento e conhecimento adequado sobre gestão, geralmente ocorre o
encerramento das atividades das empresas em até quatro anos após a sua abertura.
Então, como o controle de estoques pode auxiliar no sucesso dos comércios
varejistas? Este trabalho tem por objetivo verificar como o controle de estoques pode
auxiliar no sucesso dessas empresas, localizadas na região metropolitana de Natal,
tendo como fonte de pesquisa, lojas pertencentes ao Via Direta Shopping Center. A
intenção é analisar se está sendo realizado um sistema de controle eficaz pelos
gestores, evidenciando a importância de planejar, fazer um bom controle de
estoques, e obter ajuda profissional para a tomada de decisões da empresa; e, se
isso não está sendo feito, o motivo que os impedem de fazê-lo. Através de
pesquisas de campo, aplicou-se um questionário, em 18 lojas do shopping, com
questões abertas condicionadas às fechadas sobre controle interno e planejamento
de estoques. Através de dados obtidos por amostragem, constatou-se que a maioria
dos gestores trabalha com pouco estoque, fazem inventário, possuem sistema
informatizado, lidam bem com períodos de sazonalidade, possuem dificuldade em
lidar com o capital de giro e, um pouco mais da metade, não vêem necessidade de
contratar um profissional contábil, por acreditar que possuem conhecimento
suficiente sobre o sistema de controle em si. Pode-se dizer que as empresas
funcionariam melhor caso os empreendedores acreditassem na importância da
contratação de um profissional da área contábil para auxiliá-los na gestão de
estoques. As lojas do Via Direta, em Natal, estão passando por grande crise, devido
à ceticidade dos gestores, das lojas e shopping, de maneira geral: quando não
fechadas, estão sendo repassadas a outras pessoas, que se não forem
corretamente aconselhadas, futuramente, também se perguntarão onde erraram.
Enquanto isso, a culpa recai sobre a economia do Estado, e também sobre a gestão
do Administrador do Shopping. Fundamental seria a implementação desse estudo
também em shoppings de grande porte, para que todos os empresários do ramo
varejista tivessem conscientização da relevância de um trabalho voltado para os
Estoques, não somente no Estado, mas também no país.

 ABSTRACT

The supplies represent goods of the company, available and necessary for
the accomplishment of the business: without them, the organizations do not sale and
do not get invoicing. Currently, due to lack of knowledge of the managers of the retail
commercial sector, these do not know to identify if the best option for the business is
to maximize or to minimize the supplies. Without planning and knowledge adjusted
on management, generally the closing of the activities of the companies in up to four
years after its opening occurs. Then, as the control of supplies can assist in the
success of the retailings? This work has for objective to verify as the control of
supplies can assist in the success of these companies, located in the region
metropolitan of Christmas, having as source of research, pertaining store to the
Direct Way Shopping Center. The intention is to analyze if he is being carried through
a system of efficient control for the managers, evidencing the importance to plan, to
make a good control of supplies, and to get professional aid for the taking of
decisions of the company; e, if this is not being fact, the reason that hinders them to
make it. Through field research, a questionnaire was applied, in 18 store of shopping,
with conditional open questions to closed on internal control and the planning of
supplies. Through data gotten for sampling, it was evidenced that the majority of the
managers works with little supply, they make inventory, they possess system of
computerized supply, they deal well with periods of sazonalidade, possess difficulty
in dealing with the turn capital and, a little more than the half, do not see necessity to
contract a countable professional, for believing that they possess enough knowledge
on the system of control in itself. It can be said that the companies would function
case better the entrepreneurs believed the importance of the act of contract of a
professional of the countable area to assist them in the management of supplies. The
store of the Direct Way, in Christmas, are passing for great crisis, due to ceticidade
of the managers, of the store and shopping, in a generalized manner: when not
closed, they are being repassed other people, who if will not be correctly advised,
future, also will be asked where it is the error. Meanwhile, the guilt falls again on the
economy of the State, and also on the management of the Administrator of the
Shopping. Basic it would be the implementation of this study also in shoppings of
great transport, so that all the entrepreneurs of the retail branch had awareness of
the relevance of a work directed toward the Supplies, not only in the State, but also in
the country.
