Bellary : A special vigilance squad comprising officials of the
forest and mines and geology department , has suspended minstate
– owned Mysore Minarals Limited in Sandure. On Wednesday,

Blaze hits landmark Madina hotel
Sept, 6: The first floor of the 60 – year – old Madina
Hotel , a city landmark, was damaged in a major fire
that broke out in a store adjacent to it on Monday
morning.
The flames engulfed the store and gutted the new
Madina Bag Works at patthar Gatti in Charminar By

The government on Thursday extended till september 29 the ban on bulk
SMSes and MMSes after the supreme Court stayed for a week the Ayodhya title
suit verdict that was due to the pronounced by Allahabad High Court on Friday.
The ban has been extended to avoid giving a chance to radicalits to foment
trouble. The order was issued to all mobile telecom service providers for
“banning all bulk SMSes and MMSes in all service areas with immediate effect till
September 29”.
