This is with reference to your application for a Canadian temporary resident visa. This is not a
refusal letter. Your application is being returned to you as incomplete and no file has been
created at this office. A complete application must include (for details visit below website)
• Duly Signed separate application form, family composition form and fee for each
applicant 18 years old and above including spouse if accompanying. Hand written
applications are not acceptable.
• Correct fee- only the green copy of bank draft in Canadian dollars made payable to
receiver General of Canada will be accepted.
• Original passport with a validity of at least 6 months, as well as copies of all previous
passports. Please note that a separate passport is required for each visitor. This includes
children of any age.
• Two passport size photographs for each applicant. The name and date of birth must be
written on reverse of the photograph.
• If you are an Afghan national, you must submit the Afghanistan Questionnaire and a
mailing address in Pakistan.
• If you have served/currently serving in any of Pakistan’s police or armed force (Air force,
Navy, Army), even if you are retired from any of the armed police forces 10 or more years
ago (notwithstanding if you are currently employed in a different profession) you
still have to submit a detailed C.V. as well as fully completed Police/Military table, Both
are available on the website. An incomplete police /Military table and /or C.V. will result in
your application being returned. Common errors and missing information and use of
abbreviations. Please take care in fully completing the table paying particular attention to
Ranks, names of Commanding Officers, type of Unit, number of staff supervised and
complete details on your responsibilities. Please provide the table in typed format.
• 1 copy of most current passport pages bearing name and picture for each applicant
• 1 copy of national identity card for each applicant. For Afghan nationals, a copy Tazkara
for each applicant.
• Invitation letter from your host in Canada, or hotel reservation of you are not staying with
relatives.
• Proof of adequate funds for your travel and stay in Canada.\
• If the host is paying your expenses, you must include proof of adequate funds for the
host. Examples of proof of funds may be: Bank Statement for the applicant(s) and or/
income tax returns for the host in Canada. If you are a housewife/ student dependent on
husband/ parent, you must submit evidence of husband / father’s proof of adequate
funds.
• Letter of employment stating date hired , position, salary and confirming the dates and
duration of your approved leave. If you are a housewife/student dependent on
husband/parents, submit evidence of husbands/fathers employment
• If only 1 parent is traveling with a minor child a letter of consent from the other parent
allowing the child to travel is required.
• Evidence of Immigration status of your relatives living in Canada, i.e. a copy of their
record of Landing (IMM1000) of their permanent resident card, copy of Canadian
passport, Canadian citizenship card or any other document showing hosts full name and
date of birth.
• Any other documentation/information showing your ties to Pakistan/

• Submission of any false or misleading information will result in refusal.
