Zu Ihrer und Ihrer Patienten Sicherheit

Gebrauchsanweisung beachten
WARNUNG
Diese Gebrauchsanweisung muss genauestens befolgt
werden. Jede Verwendung der Gerätekombination setzt
die genaue Kenntnis und Beachtung aller Kapitel dieser
Gebrauchsanweisung voraus. Die Gerätekombination
darf ausschließlich für den unter "Zweckbestimmung"
auf Seite 4 angegebenen Zweck verwendet werden. Alle
mit WARNUNG oder ACHTUNG gezeichneten Hinweise
in dieser Gebrauchsanweisung sowie die Hinweise auf
den Geräteschildern müssen beachtet werden.
Instandhaltung
WARNUNG
Das Gerät muss regelmäßig Inspektionen und Wartun-
gen durch Fachleute unterzogen werden. Instandset-
zungen am Gerät dürfen ebenfalls nur durch Fachleute
vorgenommen werden. Für den Abschluss eines Ser-
vice-Vertrags sowie für Instandsetzungen empfiehlt
Dräger den DrägerService. Dräger empfiehlt für die
Instandhaltung die Verwendung von Original-Dräger-
Teilen. Andernfalls kann die korrekte Funktion des
Gerätes gefährdet sein. Kapitel "Instandhaltung"
beachten.
Zubehör
Patientensicherheit
Mit der Geräteausstattung, der dazugehörigen Dokumentation
und den Geräteschildern wird davon ausgegangen, dass das
Gerät ausschließlich von Fachleuten erworben und eingesetzt
wird und bestimmte grundlegende Funktionen des Gerätes
dem geschulten Anwender bekannt sind. Die Anweisungen
zum Gebrauch sowie die mit WARNUNG und ACHTUNG
gekennzeichneten Hinweise beschränken sich daher im
Wesentlichen auf die Besonderheiten des Dräger-Gerätes.
Diese Gebrauchsanweisung enthält keine Hinweise auf
Gefahren, die für medizinisches Fachpersonal offensichtlich
sind, sowie auf die Konsequenzen des inkorrekten Gebrauchs
des Gerätes und mögliche negative Auswirkungen auf Patien-
ten mit unterschiedlichen Grunderkrankungen. Veränderun-
gen am Gerät oder die inkorrekte Verwendung des Gerätes
können gefährlich sein.

Mit WARNUNG oder ACHTUNG gekennzeichnete Hinweise,
die sich auf spezielle Teile oder Funktionen des Gerätes
beziehen, erscheinen in den betreffenden Abschnitten der
Gebrauchsanweisung.

WARNUNG
Nur das in der Bestell-Liste aufgeführte Zubehör ist für
die Verwendung mit dem Gerät getestet und zugelassen
worden. Folglich wird dringend empfohlen, das Gerät
nur in Verbindung mit dem entsprechenden Zubehör zu
verwenden. Andernfalls kann die korrekte Funktion des
Gerätes gefährdet sein.

Kein Betrieb in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen

WARNUNG
Die Gerätekombination ist nicht für den Betrieb in explo-
sionsgefährdeten Bereichen zugelassen.

Zweckbestimmung

Zweckbestimmung
Evita TransportMobil – Erweiterung des EvitaMobils für die
unterbrechungsfreie Intensivtherapie während des innerklini-
schen Transportes. Fahrbarer Intensiv-Versorgungsplatz mit
Kopplung an das Patientenbett.
Zur Aufnahme von EvitaXL, Evita 4, Evita 4 edition bzw.
Evita 2 dura, von Spritzenpumpen, Infusionspumpen, Trans-
portmonitoring, Infusionsflaschen.
Eingebauter Akku und Druckgasflaschen (Sauerstoff und AIR)
zur Versorgung von EvitaXL, Evita 4, Evita 4 edition, bzw.
Evita 2 dura mit integriertem Gleichspannungsnetzteil.

Optionale Ausstattung mit einem Bett-Ankopplungssystem.

Anwender sind medizinisches Personal auf Intensivstationen

mit Erfahrung in der Durchführung von innerklinischen
Transporten.

Vorbereiten
Rüstsatz "TransportMobil" montieren
Erforderliche Teile:
– EvitaMobil
– Rüstsatz "TransportMobil"
Der Rüstsatz wird separat geliefert. Montage an das Fahr-
gestell EvitaMobil nach beiliegender Montageanweisung
durch Fachleute.

WARNUNG
EvitaMobil nicht mit Säulenverlängerung benutzen,
sonst reduzierte Kippfestigkeit!
z Weiteres notwendiges Zubehör nach zugehöriger Monta-
geanweisung montieren.
– Akkus
– DC-Anschlusskabel
– Flaschenhalter mit Druckgasflaschen
– Ankoppelungssystem (Option)

Bedingungen für die Kippfestigkeit des

Evita TransportMobils
Folgenden Bedingungen für die Platzierung der Geräte einhal-
ten, um die Kippfestigkeit der Gerätekombination beim Patien-
tentransport zu gewährleisten.

WARNUNG
max. 2 kg (4,41 lb)
Das Gesamtgewicht der an den Säulen und an der Quer-
schiene montierten Geräte darf 14 kg (30,86 lb) nicht max. 14 kg (30,86 lb)
überschreiten!

WARNUNG
Das Gesamtgewicht der Infusionsflaschen darf 2 kg max. 30 kg (66,14 lb)
(4,41 lb) nicht überschreiten.

WARNUNG
Für den Transport mit den maximalen Gewichten müs-
sen 4 Stück 3 L-Druckgasflaschen (2 x Sauerstoff und
2 x AIR) an den Flaschenhaltern montiert sein. max. 1700 mm
(66,93")

Zwei Akkus für die Option Evita DC müssen im Batte-

das Evita TransportMobil erhöhte Kippgefahr.
Transportgeschwindigkeit weiter verringern.

WARNUNG
Evita TransportMobil (mit Zubehör in ungünstigster Stel-
lung) nicht mehr als 5° neigen. Sonst ist die Kippstabili-
tät nicht mehr gewährleistet.

WARNUNG
Für den Transport darf das Bedienteil der EvitaXL,
Evita 4, Evita 4 edition nur vorn am Gerät montiert sein.
Sonst ist die Kippstabilität nicht mehr gewährleistet.

Geräte platzieren
EvitaXL, Evita 4, Evita 4 edition und Evita 2 dura
z Infusionsstangen mit Querschiene abnehmen:
1 beidseitig die schwarzen Buchsen hochziehen, gleichzei-
tig die Infusionsstangen abheben und abnehmen.
2 Gerät auf der Konsole platzieren und hörbar in die Verrie-
gelung einrasten lassen.
z Infusionsstangen über den unteren Säulen platzieren,
1 beidseitig die schwarzen Buchsen über die unteren Säulen

WARNUNG
Immer 4 Druckgasflaschen (2 x Sauerstoff und 2 x AIR)
verwenden. Diese sorgen für eine ausreichende Trans-
portversorgung von EvitaXL, Evita 4, Evita 4 edition
bzw. Evita 2 dura und sichern die Kippfestigkeit.
z Flaschendruckregler an die Druckgasflaschen schrauben.
z Schlauchkupplung an die Flaschendruckregler schrauben.

Ankoppelungssystem montieren (Option)
ACHTUNG
Immer den höchstmöglichen Montageort am Bett wählen,
um eine größtmögliche Kippfestigkeit zu gewährleisten.

Das Evita TransportMobil kann am Fuß- oder Kopfende des

Bettes angekoppelt werden.
Zum Ankoppeln an ein Patientenbett gibt es folgende Stellen:
– Mittig oben am Bügel des Fuß- oder Kopfteils
oder
– mittig am Rahmen der Liegefläche
oder
– mittig an einer vorhandenen Schiene.

beiden Seiten festdrehen.

z Evita TransportMobil so in Richtung Bett schieben, dass
der Zapfen des bettseitigen Kupplungsteils hörbar in die
Zapfenaufnahme des geräteseitigen Kupplungsteils ein-
rastet.
z Durch leichtes Ziehen am Evita TransportMobil sicherstel-
len, dass die beiden Kupplungsteile fest verbunden sind.

konnektion der Patientenverbindungen zu vermeiden.

WARNUNG
Bedienteil der EvitaXL, Evita 4, Evita 4 edition darf nur
vorn am Gerät montiert sein. Sonst ist die Kippstabilität
nicht mehr gewährleistet.

z Die externen Akkus und die 4 Stück 3 L-Druckgasflaschen

(2 x Sauerstoff, 2 x AIR) müssen zur Gewichtsstabilisie-
rung vorhanden sein.
z Sicherstellen, dass die Akkus geladen sind, siehe
Gebrauchsanweisung "Evita DC".
z Netzstecker von EvitaXL, Evita 4, Evita 4 edition bzw.
Evita 2 dura ziehen.
z Druckgasflaschen öffnen, Druck kontrollieren.
z Erst einen Stecker der Druckgasschläuche von EvitaXL,
Evita 4, Evita 4 edition, bzw. Evita 2 dura aus der Wand-
entnahmestelle ziehen und in die entsprechende
Schlauchkupplung der Druckgasflasche stecken – bis zum
Einrasten.
Dann:
z Den anderen Stecker aus der Wandentnahme ziehen und
in die entsprechende Schlauchkupplung der Druckgasfla-
sche stecken – bis zum Einrasten.
z Kontrolle, ob alle montierten Teile sicher befestigt sind.
z Die für den Transport des Patienten nötigen Geräte auf
dem Evita TransportMobil in Betrieb nehmen – nach zuge-
hörigen Gebrauchsanweisungen.
z Nacheinander die Patientenverbindungen von den statio-
nären Geräten zu den entsprechenden Geräten auf dem
Evita TransportMobil umstellen – die zugehörigen
Gebrauchsanweisungen beachten.
z Die Patientenverbindungen geordnet verlegen.
z Bremsen des Evita TransportMobils und des Bettes lösen.

WARNUNG
Evita TransportMobil (mit Zubehör in ungünstigster Stel-
lung) nicht mehr als 5° neigen. Sonst ist die Kippstabili-
tät nicht mehr gewährleistet.
Zur Erhöhung der Kippstabilität Zubehör in die günstigste Stel-
lung bringen:
z Gelenkarm auf kleinste Auslenkung stellen.
z Schläuche so dicht wie möglich an das Fahrgestell
hängen.

Transport immer mit zwei Personen durchführen:

1 Evita TransportMobil am frontalen Fahrgestellgriff oder an
den seitlichen Griffen führen/bewegen.
2 Eine Person schiebt das Evita TransportMobil indem sie
seitlich nebenher geht. 2 3
3 Die zweite Person schiebt am Ende des vom
Evita TransportMobil entfernten Bettteils.

Beim Überfahren von Schwellen oder Unebenheiten
besteht für das Evita TransportMobil erhöhte Kippge-
fahr, da es durch die starre Verbindung vom Bett bewegt
wird.

WARNUNG
Muss die gekoppelte Einheit entgegen der vorgeschrie-
benen Fahrtrichtung bewegt werden:
Ankopplung lösen und als ungekoppelte Einheit bewe-
gen, siehe Seite 12.

WARNUNG
Muss das Bett in der Höhe und/oder Neigung verstellt
werden:
Ankopplung vorher lösen!

Transport immer mit zwei Personen durchführen:

1 Evita TransportMobil am frontalen Fahrgestellgriff oder an

Wird der Transport unterbrochen

z. B. für die Diagnostik
Zur Schonung des Druckgasvorrats und der Batterien:
z Stationäre Gas- und Spannungsquellen aus dem Netz
benutzen.

Aufbereiten
Desinfizieren
Zur Desinfektion Präparate aus der Gruppe der Flächendesin-
fektionsmittel verwenden. Aus Gründen der Materialverträg-
lichkeit eignen sich Präparate auf der Wirkstoffbasis von:
– Aldehyden,
– quaternären Ammoniumverbindungen.

Wegen möglicher Schädigung der Materialien eignen sich

keine Präparate auf der Basis von:
– Phenol-haltigen Verbindungen,
– Halogen-abspaltenden Verbindungen,
– starken organischen Säuren,
– Sauerstoff-abspaltenden Verbindungen.

Evita TransportMobil
z z. B. mit Buraton 10 F wischdesinfizieren (Fa. Schülke &
Mayr, Norderstedt), Anwendungsvorschriften des Herstel-
lers beachten.

Geräte auf dem Evita TransportMobil

z nach eigener Gebrauchsanweisung aufbereiten.

Entsorgung
Für Länder im Geltungsbereich der EG-Richtlinie
2002/96/EG:
Dieses Gerät fällt in den Geltungsbereich der
EU-Richtlinie 2002/96/EG (WEEE).
Es ist nicht für die Nutzung in privaten Haushalten
registriert, eine Entsorgung über die kommunalen
Sammelstellen für Elektrogeräte ist nicht zulässig.
Dräger Medical hat ein Unternehmen autorisiert, die
rechtssichere Entsorgung dieses Gerätes vorzunehmen:

For Your Safety and that of Your Patients

Strictly follow these Instructions for Use
WARNING
Strictly follow these Instructions for Use.
Any use of the product requires full understanding and
strict observation of all portions of these instructions.
The device is only to be used for the purpose specified
under "Intended Use" on page 20. Observe all WARNING
and CAUTION statements throughout this manual and
all statements on device labels.
Maintenance
WARNING
The device must be inspected and serviced regularly by
trained service personnel.
Repair of the device may also only be carried out by
trained service personnel.
Dräger recommends that a service contract be obtained
with DrägerService and that all repairs also be carried
out by them. Dräger recommends that only authentic
Dräger repair parts be used for maintenance. Otherwise
the correct functioning of the device may be compro-
mised.
See chapter "Maintenance".
Patient safety
The design of the equipment, the accompanying literature,
and the labeling on the equipment take into consideration that
the purchase and use of the equipment are restricted to
trained professionals, and that certain inherent characteristics
of the equipment are known to the trained operator. Instruc-
tions, warnings, and caution statements are limited, therefore,
largely to the specifics of the Dräger design.
This publication excludes references to various hazards which
are obvious to a medical professional and operator of this
equipment, to the consequences of product misuse, and to
potentially adverse effects in patients with abnormal condi-
tions. Product modification or misuse can be dangerous.

Accessories

WARNING
Only the accessories indicated on the list Order List
have been tested and approved to be used with the
device. Accordingly it is strongly recommended that
only these accessories be used in conjunction with the
specific device. Otherwise the correct functioning of the
device may be compromised.

This apparatus is neither approved nor certified for use
in areas where combustible or explosive gas mixtures
are likely to occur.

Intended Use

Intended Use
Evita TransportMobil – Extension of the EvitaMobil for
uninterrupted intensive care during transport within the
hospital or clinic. Mobile intensive care unit with connection to
the patient's bed.
Can accommodate EvitaXL, Evita 4, Evita 4 edition, or
Evita 2 dura, syringe pumps, infusion pumps, transport moni-
toring, infusion bottles.
Integrated battery and compressed gas cylinders (Oxygen
and AIR) for supplying the EvitaXL, Evita 4, Evita 4 edition or
Evita 2 dura with integrated DC power pack.

Can optionally be equipped with a bed coupling system.

For use by medical personnel in intensive care wards who are

experienced in patient transport within a hospital.

Fitting the "Transport" kit
Parts required:
– EvitaMobil
– "TransportMobil" kit
The kit is supplied separately. It must be installed on the
EvitaMobil trolley by specialists in accordance with the
enclosed installation instructions

WARNING
EvitaMobil must not be operated with column extension,
as this will impair its stability!
z Install other required accessories in accordance with the
corresponding installation instructions.
– Batteries
– DC connecting lead
– Cylinder holder with compressed gas cylinders
– Coupling system (option)

Conditions for ensuring stability of the

Evita TransportMobil
The following conditions must be met when positioning the
equipment in order to ensure that the equipment combination
remains stable when transporting the patient
max. 1950 mm (76.77")
WARNING
max. 2 kg (4.41 lb)
The total weight of the equipment mounted on the col-
umns and cross-arm must not exceed 14 kg (30.86 lb)! max. 14 kg (30.86 lb)

WARNING
The total weight of the infusion bottles must not exceed
2 kg (4.41 lb). max. 30 kg (66.14 lb)

WARNING
Four 3 L compressed gas cylinders (2 x Oxygen and
2 x AIR) must be mounted on the cylinder holders for
transport with the maximum weights allowed. max. 1700 mm
(66.93")
WARNING
Two batteries for the optional Evita DC must be present
4 x min. 3 L
in the battery compartment of the Evita TransportMobil.

ter in doorways, on uneven surfaces and on ramps and
slopes. Slow down further at such times.

WARNING
Never tilt the Evita TransportMobil (with the accessories
in an undesirable position) by more than 5°. Otherwise
its stability may be impaired.

WARNING
For transport, the control unit of the EvitaXL, Evita 4,
Evita 4 edition must be attached to the front of the
device. Otherwise its stability may be impaired.

Positioning equipment
EvitaXL, Evita 4, Evita 4 edition and Evita 2 dura
z Remove infusion holder with cross-arm:
1 Raise the black bushes on both sides and simultaneously
lift the infusion holder up and off.
2 Place the equipment on the console so that it audibly
engages in the catch.
z Position the infusion holder over the lower columns
1 and slide the black bushings down over the lower columns
on both sides. 2
2 Prepare EvitaXL, Evita 4, Evita 4 edition, Evita 2 dura for 1
connection to external batteries, see Instructions for Use of
"Evita DC".

CAUTION
Only equipment and components approved for transport
within a hospital should be installed.

by screwing into place or by securing it with appropriate
straps.

Always use four compressed gas cylinders (2 x Oxygen

and improve the stability of the equipment combination.
z Screw pressure reducers onto the cylinder valves.
z Screw hose coupling onto the pressure reducers.

Mounting coupling system (option)
CAUTION
Always choose the highest possible mounting point at the
bed to ensure maximum protection against overturning.

The Evita TransportMobil can be connected to either end of

the patient's bed.
It can be connected to the patient's bed at the following points:
– In the middle of the bar at the head or foot end
or
– in the middle of the frame under the mattress
or
– in the middle of an existing rail.

Positioning the coupling element on the equipment
z Undo the tommy screws on the tube clamp on both sides
and adjust bar with peg hole to the same height as the cou-
pling element on the bed. Retighten the tommy screws on
both sides.

Coupling
z Push the Evita TransportMobil towards the bed so that the
peg on the bed coupling element audibly engages with the
peg hole on the equipment coupling element.
z Pull the Evita TransportMobil gently to check that the two
coupling elements are firmly connected.

Minimising the distance between Evita TransportMobil

and the bed
1 Slacken the tommy screws on the tube clamp on both
sides.
2 Position the Evita TransportMobil as close to the bed as
possible, ensuring that the wheels of the 1
Evita TransportMobil and of the bed can move freely.
1 Tighten up the tommy screws on the tube clamp on both
sides.

Disconnecting
3 Press down catch at peg hole on the equipment coupling 3
element and
4 simultaneously pull the two coupling elements apart.

When the Evita TransportMobil is not coupled to a bed:
z Fold down the peg on the bed coupling element and the
peg hole on the equipment coupling element to minimise
the risk of injury due to the protruding parts. 113

Preparing transport
WARNING
Apply the brakes of both the Evita TransportMobil and
the bed, or use the optional coupling to prevent discon-
nection of the patient connections.

WARNING
Position the control unit of EvitaXL, Evita 4,
Evita 4 edition on front of the device only. Otherwise its
stability may be impaired.

z The external batteries and the four cylinders (2 x Oxygen

and 2 x AIR) must be in place, to stabilise the weight.
z Ensure that the batteries are fully charged, see Instruc-
tions for Use of "Evita DC".
z Unplug mains connector of EvitaXL, Evita 4,
Evita 4 edition, Evita 2 dura.
z Open the gas cylinders, check the pressure.
z First unplug a connector of the compressed gas hoses for
EvitaXL, Evita 4, Evita 4 edition or Evita 2 dura from the
wall terminal and plug into the corresponding hose cou-
pling of the compressed gas cylinder – until it engages.
Then:
z Pull the other connector from the wall terminal and plug it
into the corresponding hose coupling on the compressed
gas cylinder – until it engages.
z Check that all mounted parts are securely fastened.
z Start the equipment on the TransportMobil required for
transporting the patient – in accordance with the corre-
sponding Instructions for Use.
z Successively transfer the patient connections from the sta-
tionary equipment to the corresponding equipment units
on the Evita TransportMobil – note the corresponding
Instructions for Use.
z Route the patient connections in orderly fashion.
z Release the brakes of the Evita TransportMobil and the
bed.

WARNING
Never tilt the Evita TransportMobil (with the accessories
in an undesirable position) by more than 5°.
Otherwise its stability may be impaired.
For greater stability, move the accessories into the best posi-
tion:
z The swivel arm should be fully retracted.
z Tubes should be kept as close as possible to the trolley.

z Release the brakes of the TransportMobil and the bed.

WARNING
Direction of travel: the Evita TransportMobil must
always lead the way. Otherwise its stability may be
impaired.

Two people are always required for this purpose:

1 Hold the front trolley handle or optional side guide handles
to guide/move the TransportMobil.
2 One person must walk beside the TransportMobil and
push it. 2 3
3 The second person must push the bed at the opposite end
from the TransportMobil.

high up as possible.

When passing through doorways or rolling on uneven
surfaces, the risk of tipping the Evita TransportMobil
over is increased, because it is driven by the bed due to
the rigid coupling.

WARNING
If the coupled unit has to be moved against the specified
direction of travel:
Undo the coupling and move it as an uncoupled unit
(see page 28)

I WARNING
When adjusting the bed height and/or slope:
First undo the coupling!

Two people are always required for transport:

Cleaning

faster than walking pace. Otherwise its stability may be

The risk of the Evita TransportMobil overturning is

If transport is interrupted
e.g. for diagnostic purposes
To safeguard the supply of compressed gas and the batteries:
z connect the unit to the piped gas and power supplies.

Cleaning
Disinfecting
Use surface disinfectants for disinfection. For reasons of
material compatibility, use preparations based on
– aldehydes or
– quaternary ammonium compounds

In order to avoid damage to materials, do not use preparations

based on
– compounds containing phenols,
– halogen-releasing compounds,
– strong organic acids,
– oxygen-releasing compounds.

Evita TransportMobil
z Wipe-disinfect with Buraton 10 F for example. Follow the
manufacturer's directions.

Units on the Evita TransportMobil

z must be cleaned and disinfected in accordance with the
corresponding Instructions for Use.
