*Please note: due to unpredictable weather and road conditions causing severe delays in transport, and resulting in issues with the walk from hidroelectrica to AguasCalientes, all passengers must sign a release form before reserving their space on this tour!!

Day 1: Cusco Hidroelectrica AguasCalientes

You will be picked up with private transport at 7am from Loki. Make sure to bring with you something to read or write, or use the time to catch up on some sleep after a wild night at Loki! The drive to the hydroelectric station will take about 7 or 8 hours in favorable conditions. Short (10-15 minute) stops will be made along the way to stretch your legs.

Upon arrival at the hydroelectric station it will be a 2-3 hour (12km) walk along the railroad to AguasCalientes with your guide dont forget to bring proper clothing in case of rain, and a flashlight as you may be walking in the dark!! Hostel overnight in AguasCalientes.

Day 2 : Machu Picchu

You guide will leave no stone unturned during your two hour tour of Machu Picchu but feel free to test his/her knowledge with your own questions. Dont forget to bring insect repellent for the sand flies!

After the guided Machu Picchu tour you will have some free time before needing to return to Aguas Calientes to catch your train back to the hydroelectric station (train times vary depending on the day). Upon your arrival at the hydroelectric station youll meet up with your private transport once again get ready for the long drive (7-8hours) back to Cusco!! The driver will stop along the way so you can stretch your legs as well buy snacks and water. You will arrive back at Loki at 11-11:30pm. Perfect timing for another Loki Party!
