At Stoke Place we have the most wonderful location

in which to hold a Private Event. Stoke Place is a
17th Century Queen Anne Mansion and is set in
26 acres of secluded parkland landscaped by
Capability Brown and overlooking a picturesque lake.
We don’t believe that a Private Event should be any-
thing less than impressive and so, at Stoke Place, you
have the opportunity to choose the perfect venue from
our period of function rooms. Not only are the Stoke
Place function rooms fully equipped for any kind of
event, they also boast masses of architectural charm.
We have the capacity to serve a delicious private dinner
or lunch for anything between 10–200 guests – bespoke
menus and drinks lists can be arranged with our chef
and events team prior to your event. Enjoying all Stoke

Private Events, celebrations and parties have become a

THE ROOMS
 Each of the rooms at Stoke Place has it’s
own individual character. Below are the

T h e B a ll r o o m & L a k e s i d e

The largest of Stoke Places dedicated event rooms can
accommodate a seated dining event for 200 guests. Stoke Place
does operate a minimum numbers policy of 80 persons for the
use of the ballroom.

The Thomas Grey

Lunch £200.00 Dinner £250.00

Three large Georgian windows afford magnificent views of the
lawn and lake and fill this room full of natural daylight. Maximum
numbers for the Thomas Gray are 50.

T h e G a r d e n R o o m R e s ta u r a n t

Lunch £200.00 Dinner £250.00

The perfect room for lunch with views of the terrace and an
eclectic relaxed atmosphere. Lunch or dinner can be served for
a maximum of 30 guests.

The Garden Room

Lunch £100.00 Dinner £175.00

The smallest and most intimate of Stoke Places event rooms with
a maximum number of 20 guests dining at one table.

Stoke Places main dining room can be booked on an exclusive
basis, however due to its popularity we recommend early
booking to avoid disappointment.
The Vyse can seat up to 80 guests.

EATING
 L unch or Dinne r
Our food is inspired by our idyllic grounds designed by the
quintessentially English gardener, Capability Brown. We pride
ourselves on using the very best quality seasonal ingredients and
are currently replanting our Victorian walled garden so we can
use more homegrown produce. All our meat is free range and
traditionally reared by people who are passionate about what they
do, and all our fish comes from ethical and sustainable sources.
For parties of up to 12 guests we offer our full seasonal ala carte
dining menu that can be chosen from on the day of your event.
For parties from 13 to 30 guests we offer a reduced ala carte
dining menu of 3 choices from each course. This selection can
be made by you prior to the event and orders can either be taken
on the day or provided before hand.
For parties above 30 in number we would ask that the entire
party dine from the same set menu. This can again be selected
from our seasonal ala carte menu or if you have a particular dish
in mind or you would like a bespoke seasonal menu, our Chef and
his team would be more than happy to discuss your requirements.

Sunday L unch
Throughout the year Stoke Place plays host to many Sunday
lunches within its private rooms. Roasts of the day and quality
ingredients prepared well mean that there is plenty of choice for
all.The menu typically consists of four choices per course
and is priced at £19.95 for three courses.
For tables above 20 we do require a pre order prior to the day.

Our wine list delivers many of the great wine regions of the world
and offers a selection of styles and grape varieties that is sure
to suit most palates. Due to the nature of our list and to avoid
disappointment we do require a pre-order of wines for parties of
6 and above.

If you wish to organise a special event, the Stoke Place team
will work with you and a recommended stylist on every
bespoke detail of your party from the food offering, drinks, menu,
music, entertainment to interior setup, lighting and decoration.

For over 200 guests we can arrange for a marquee in our
grounds where we can cater for up to 2000 guests in any
weather.

A separate tea party or menu can be arranged for children under
the age of 12 years old with a party entertainer.

We would also be delighted to organise any speciality cake for
you if you wish. We liaise with only the very best cake designers
who are happy to create any design, from something spectacular
to simple sophistication.

Photog raphe r
One of the many difficulties in planning an event is finding a
reliable photographer. We liaise with a select few photographers
who would be only to happy to discuss your requirements, and
capture your function beautifully.

D i e tary Re quire me nts

We are experienced in working with highly reputable caterers
to provide specific dishes that meet dietary requirements such
as Kosher and Eastern cuisine. We will endeavour to meet any
specific dietary requirement, however we can not guarantee that
any of our menus are completely free of nuts.
