For many women it’s a desperate last
resort – few take it lightly.
Some expectant fathers see it as a way
out of their responsibilities.
We believe…
Legalised abortion degrades the medical
profession. It offers expectant mothers a
hideous choice – the choice of killing a
baby. Many women say it is the only
“choice” they are offered. Abortion allows
irresponsible men to shirk their duty, but it
causes great distress to men who care
about their unborn child.
MPs have the real choice: to vote for
more abortions - or against.
If you agree that 4,000 abortions is too
many, please tell your MP. Because
pro-abortion MPs are now seeking to
widen the Abortion Act. They want to
abolish safeguards like needing a second
doctor to authorise an abortion. They want
nurses and midwives to perform abortions
(which makes it cheaper, but not safer).
And they want the Abortion Act extended
to Northern Ireland against the wishes of
the vast majority of people living there.
