19th PYF BIENNIAL CONFERENCE 2011

PYF Biennial Conference is being held successfully from 29th
April - 1st May 2011 at the Presbyterian Church, Chanmari, Aizawl hosted
by the Mizo Synod. The keynote address of the Conference was delivered
by Rev. Zosangliana Colney (Junior Secretary of the PCI) on the first
night, i.e 29th April 2011. The theme of the Conference "Endure, and
reign with Him (II Tim 2:12) will be presented by three Speakers Rev.
W.C Khongwir, Adm. Secy. KJP Regional Assembly; Rev. Dr. Vanlal
Nghaka, Shillong and Rev. Lalramliana Pachuau, Adm. Secy., PCI Gen-
eral Assembly.
The Mizoram Presbyterian Church Synod has previously hosted
PYF Conferences at Mission Veng, Dawrpui, Ramhlun North, Shillong,
Durtlang and Serchhip Kawnpui.
The host Church of this year’s Conference prepared a Hymn Book
containing 45 hymns, all printed with the tonic solfa notation.
The Presbyterian Church, Chanmari formed 10 Committees with regard to this Conference:

The Presbyterian Church, Chanmari has spent Rs 3,37,000/- approximately for this Conference. This
year no delegates turned up from Meitei Presbyterian Church Naharuk (MPCN). Among the office bearers of

Matters arising from the CCM :
(1) Observance of !st Sunday of June every year as Environmental Sunday. It was resolved that this
issue be brought to the PCI Executive Committee for further action.
(2) Amendment of guidelines on Chapter V, No 4 (a) which deals with the age limit of Office Bearers.
This issue will also be brought to the PCI Executive Committee for further action.
Finance :
(1) The Audit Report of the PYF Central Committee was presented.
(2) The Budget for 2011-13 was passed.
The hosts for the 20th Biennial Conference in 2013 will be the Biateram Synod.
The PYF Youth Camp will be hosted by KAGAAA in November 2012
