3. Printing and downloading A330’s MEL DETAILS VIA INFOCONNECT effective immediately.
Guidelines can be found on our OM17 Section 6.
4. Duty dispatch officers are responsible to ensure ATC return plans are checked by the
dispatchers and operational messages actioned accordingly. (EG; A/C swaps, ETOPS planning)
Duty dispatch coordinators are responsible to coordinate with duty officers for smooth
communication (REFER TO NOC 185)
6. ALWAYS CHECK THE FOD BEFORE FINALISING FLIGHT PLANS AS SOME OF THE NEW AIRCRAFTS ARE NOT
CONFIGURED YET FOR THE MLF, i.e. A320 2400KGS, A321 3000KGS, A330 5000KGS.
7. Effective 17 MAR 11 JQ will commence SIN/AKL-VV flights for Jetstar-Asia (3K) based on wet
lease basis.
Dispatchers are required to manually amend the call-sign in NAVTECH plan screen.
Change the ATC–ALC from “JST” to “JSA” and ATC-FLT to be amend as 401 for 2401 and 402 for
2402. (JUST LIKE BEFORE) NEVER PUT ANY REMARKS ON FLIGHT PLAN AS THERE’S ALREADY SET UP FOR
THAT.
09. Please double check JQ464 going to YBNA, if flights has been publish to the FULL DESKTOP,
if not, manual publishing needed.
10. “HOTEL CHANGE FOR DAY OF OPS” CREWING LOGISTICS SHOULD GIVE YOU THE INFO FOR THE HOTEL
CHANGE OF THE CREW ATLEAST 2.5HRS BEFORE DEP, MUST BE UPLOAD IN T-DRIVE IN PDF FORMAT.
IF CREW IS ON AIR, CREWING LOGISTICS NEED TO CONTACT THEIR JQ CREWING COORD, AND FLIGHT
FOLLOWER WILL ACARS FOR THEM.
11. PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK ALL FLIGHTS ON THE ROCADE SPECIALLY A330 PUBLISHING FLIGHTS (AIRCRAFT
REGISTRY, ORIGIN/DESTINATION, ETD)
12. Please note if MEL RTOW charts are required to be attached to flights departing KIX please
include following remark on flight plan "rtow charts attached for mel should be used with the
new engine failure procedure as provided in the FSO"
13. Please avoid saving file on T-DRIVE, if can’t be avoided make sure its deleted or
“CUT AND PASTE” to transfer a file to PIC folder.
14.When publishing plans it must be publish all plans for that crew in the same format - ie:
they should not mix - either publish all under capt's name or under flight number.
15. When Planning JQ75/76 DRW-MNL-DRW please take note information below:
DRWMNL R70 - Provides separation from Karangetang
MNLDRW R70
MNLDRW R1 - can still be used as it provides adequate separation
DRWMNL R71 - Alternate route to avoid an ash cloud drifting west from Dukono if required
MNLDRW R71
DRWMNL R2 AND MNLDRW R2 can't be used whilst Karangetang remains at colour code orange.
When using R70 please add the following rmk
"Flight planned on manual route to avoid code orange volcano Karangetang. Route requires
manual
entry into fmgc"
Also attached Glenn email regarding VA avoidance for JQ75/76.
16. New route advise AKL-CNS-AKL. Normally planned etops using YBCS/YBBN(YBRK)/NZAA
Standard alternate policy applies AKL-CNS,
Mandatory NZ alternate applies CNS-AKL
18. Please be advised all Fijian clearance now available for our schedule and all routes have
been activated. Please ref e-mail from Steve. “Re-enabled the SYD-HNL and HNL-SYD routes going
through this airspace.”
18. PLCH fuel supply is short on JETA1 again. Do not nominate PLCH as an adequate UFN.
(glenn’s email)
19. DUTY SHEET “RELEASE TIME” HAS BEEN CHANGED TO MNL LOCAL TIME TO AVOID MANUAL EDITING.
20. ALL MANUAL PUBLISHING FLIGHTS, CHECK THE FLIGHT PLAN CONTENTS ON THE CREW WEB SUCH AS
MSLCHARTS AS NOT ALL ARE BEING PICK UP BY IFDS AND THE DATE IS NOT CURRENT.
21. Being this requirement is a current policy, “flights must be planned above FL240” becomes a
dispatcher’s responsibility to check & correct the flight levels in flight plans.
If you notice a flight level below FL240, please inform duty coordinator to change the level as
dispatchers are not authorised to change or force flight levels.
22. FROM 02 MAY TO 06 MAY (BOTH DAYS INCLUSIVE) “Aces strike MILEX – Check WWX
activity NOTAM/HOURS and affected flights must be above FL320”.
