Loosed From the Chains that Bind

He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of

death and broke apart the bonds that held them.
Psalms 107:14
Not only will those who hunger and thirst after righteous-
ness will be filled, but they shall be healed and delivered
from the things that shackles the mind, spirit and body.

The wonderful thing about healing and deliverance is that it

is the children’s bread. It belongs to those that are sons
and daughters of the Most High. Jesus said, “He would heal
the broken-hearted and bind up their wounds.

However, we must take the initiative to seek God for healing

and deliverance. Avoid looking at misperceptions of healing
and deliverance. Open your heart fully to God and remove
any limitations around your mindset that prevents the flow
of the Holy Spirit. We often think God can only heal us
when someone prays and lays their hand on us. The Lord has
demonstrated to me that He will heal as He pleases outside
the box that we put Him in.

I recall having a vision of God pouring His healing power

into my own life. I attended a conference at our church and
on this particular night we had a guest singer, Martha
Munizzi, she sung with power and anointing. I was standing
in the choir area as she was singing a song about the
love of God, as I began to just focus on God and the
words of the song that ministered to my heart, the Shekinah
Glory of the Lord came on the scene. The presence and
anointing of the Lord was all on me, I thanked the Lord for

for His love and presence; He begin to release healing as I
sobbed and cried because of His great love for me. When we
don’t know what binds us, the Lord knows and see the chains
that holds us in bondage. The Lord wonderfully set me free
from guilt, self-condemnation and grief. He opened my eyes
to see the vastness of His love for me, that I would know
that I’m forgiven for my sins and failures. He embraced me
with a love to give to others that are wounded and hurt;
that they too will receive His forgiveness, acceptance and
affectionate love.

We must not hold on to our bad memories, hurt and pain, but
we must allow Jesus to heal and restore our heart.

I Peter 5:7, “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth
for you.”

Jesus was wounded for our transgressions, He carried our

sorrows, which literally translates to afflictions, meaning
grief, pain and sorrow. Will you give your wounds and sor-
row to Him today?

Take a step forward today and give Him your pain and sorrow.
Apostle James admonishes us to, “Confess your faults one to
another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.”
James 5:16

The Lord broke the chains that held me in guilt, self-

condemnation and grief. He manifested His unfailing love so
wonderfully as I praised and worshipped Him. The
wounds that was once there is done away with by the
healing hand of the Lord. Will you trust Him today to heal
and restore your soul?

The work of healing and deliverance is a continuation of the
ministry of our Lord and Savior. As His representative and
ambassador I endeavor to carry out this mandate in obedi-
ence.

To begin your healing today:

 Humbly acknowledge and repent of your sins, genera-

tional sins & iniquity

 Seek God for healing and deliverance

 Begin to renew you mind to the Word of God

 Seek God with all your heart for healing

 Combine your praying with fasting

 Praise and worship Him even in your trying and dif-

ficult circumstances

 Proactively take authority over the voice of the en-

emy by binding him and forbidding his works

 Loose love, joy and peace in your life and home

 Pray with other strong believers that you can trust

 Command the presence of the enemy to go from you

May the Lord release healing and deliverance in your life today.
