Police force

Dog handler:
A dog handler in the police force is a very rewarding and very exiting job. The
job of a dog handler is to train a working dog and to take care and look after
them. Also they control the dog if there has been an incident and will point the
dog in the right direction. Police dogs are a huge asset to the police service.
Not only do they help to deter criminals and safeguard the public they also
offer an amazing sense of smell. If we did not use police dogs wit would be
near impossible for a human to do the same work rate and same sense of
smell that a dog can achieve. The average wage for a god handler in the
police force is around £20,000 – £25,000. There are different types of dogs
that can be used in the police force and these are them:

Passive Dogs – used in the detection of drugs on persons

Proactive Dogs – used in the detection of drugs in a specific area, such as a


warehouse, airport baggage control, nightclubs, schools or offices

Explosives Dogs – used in the detection of bombs or explosive material

General Purpose Dogs – what most people recognize as a police dog, used
for tracking, searching for persons or property, and the chasing and detaining
of fleeing offenders.

Traffic Warden

The job of a traffic warden is to ensure safety that use vehicles and different
types of transport. A traffic warden is a member of civilian staff employed by a
statutory authority in jurisdictions such as the United Kingdom. Traffic
wardens issue non-endorsable Fixed Penalty Notices to vehicles that are
breaching certain parking regulations, which may include stopping on a Red
route, exceeding the time limit in a free parking bay, or parking on yellow
lines, which indicate that a waiting or loading restriction is in force. Wardens
also issue Endorsable Fixed Penalty Notices for parking offences such as
parking in a dangerous position or
parking on the crossing area in the
approach to a pedestrian. The average

Army
Sniper
A sniper in the army is a very testing and physical job. It requires a lot of
patience and also a lot of training. Snipers operate close to the enemy. They
can remain hidden for days, and when they find their targets, they hit them
with highly accurate fire from specially designed sniping rifles. It needs
patience and a high level of skill, but it’s a vital member of any combat unit.
The wage for a sniper is around £35.000 for the first year and then it can
gradually increase to £40, 000 if you show that you are worthy of a promotion.
A sniper needs to be able to be on his own for a long period of time. A sniper
usually works on his own but sometimes, they can work in pairs resulting in a
more highly effective mission. Snipers can work in any terrain, and work in
any country. So they are a very effective part of the army who play a very
important part in wars.

Paratrooper
Paratroopers are very highly trained infantry who work behind enemy lines.
There job is to parachute out of a plane into enemy lines and complete their
mission. Paratroopers are Part of a highly mobile, very healthy, hard hitting
group who get there job done fast and effectively. The average wage for a
paratrooper is round £15, 000 -£17, 000. However, soldiers of officer rank can
earn up to £20,000. The time spent as a paratrooper can also affect the given
salary. The age you need to be before you can apply to be a paratrooper is
16, and you can then work on until your 32.
