www . quoizel . com 1. Before beginning the installation, carefully unpack and identify all parts ,
LOOP referring to illustration.
STUD 2 . Turn the electrical power to installation point OFF at circuit breaker.
3 . Refer to FIUGRE 1 , open the DOOR and place the GLASS PANELS
UNIVERSAL (2) OUTLET
CROSSBAR BOX SCREWS
inside of the CAGE . Attach the panels onto the inside edge and fold
(not supplied) LOCK BALL the TABS to secure them. Leave the DOOR as the last one to
OUTLET BOX assemble the GLASS PANEL .
Please note the Small Glass Panel is installed onto the Door . The rest
Glass Panels are installed onto the other 3 sides .
DECORATIVE 4 . Locate the DECORATIVE ARMS. Refer to the illustration, match the SIDE
ARMS ARMS onto the holes on the side of the CAGE and place the hole on the top
end of the SIDE ARM over the STUDS on the side of the LOOP. Thread the
SOCKET
LOCK BALL onto the STUD to secure the SIDE ARM. Proceed to locate the
(2) M OUNTING SCREWS FINIAL and position the STUDS through the holes on the ends of the SIDE
DOOR
ARMS. Secure them with the LOCK BALLS. Hand tighten until snug.
5. Place the CROSSBAR on the BACKPLATE and align the holes in the
FIXTURE SUPPLY WIRE BACKPLATE with a set of threaded holes in the CROSSBAR. Install the
and GROUND W IRE
(2) MOUNTING SCREWS in the aligned threaded holes on the
BACKPLATE
CROSSBAR. Next, mount the CROSSBAR to the outlet box with
(2)MOUNTING BALLS (2)OUTLET BOX SCREWS (not provided).
6. Make the connections :
CAGE Use wire connectors(not supplied) connect the HOUSE GROUND to the
LOCK BALL FIXTURE GROUND WIRE ; attach the HOUSE WHITE WIRE to
STUD FIXTURE WHITE (or RIBBED SIDE) SUPPLY WIRE; connect the HOUSE
FINIAL BLACK(or RED) WIRE to the FIXTURE BLACK(or SMOOTH SIDE)
WIRE. Wrap each connection with approved electrical tape.
7. Carefully tuck all wires into the WALL MOUNTED OUTLET BOX and
position the fixture over the outlet box. Align the HOLES in the
FIGURE1 BACKPLATE with the ( 2 ) MOUNTING SCREWS attached to the
UNIVERSAL CROSSBAR. Pass the fixture over the ( 2 ) MOUNTING
SCREWS and secure against by threading ( 2 ) MOUNTING BALLS onto
end of screw. Tighten until snug.

8.Open the DOOR as shown. Install the correct bulb referring to the fixture

well.
9 . Refer to Page 2 for fixture caulking installations.
10. Restore power to the installation point ON. Retain this sheet for future
reference.

With the OUTDOOR FIXTURE properly installed in accordance with supplied
assembly/installation instructions, proceed with caulking instructions below.

Note: Be sure EXTERIOR WALL SURFACE and FIXTURE BACKPLATE are free to dirt to
caulking. Using EXTERIOR GRADE CAULK, start on one side of FIXTURE BACKPLATE and
EXTERIOR GRADE follow contour, were the FIXTURE BACKPLATE meets the EXTERIOR WALL SURFACE
CAULK
upward. Proceed to caulk over top of backplate and down other side. DO NOT CAULK
BOTTOM OF FIXTURE BACKPLATE to ensure proper moisture drainage.
