ENTRANCE TEST DETAILS

1. WRITEEN TEST

The written Test will consist of the Following :

Marks Time
1. Objective Test 50 70 Min
Comprehension and / or Expression
2. 10 20 Min
Test (E-test)
(Either in Hindi or English)
Total 60 90 Min.

Description of Written Test

1. Objective Test :
There shall be 100 multiple choice test items. Questions maybe set from the
following major areas to assess competence.
. Reasoning. To assess logical reasoning, establishing relations, analogy, drawing
conclusions etc.
. General Awareness. General knowledge about event (National & International,
Personalities, Literary, Sports, Film, Music etc.)
. Subjects. Basic ideas related to health, environment, education including sports.
. Professional Subjects. Applicable only forM.P.Ed.Subjects taught at qualifying degrees
mentioned in eligibility conditions.
. Aptitude and Attitude. Apptitude related to games, sports and Attitude towards physical
education and sports as a vocation and profession.
. Compreshension and / or Expression Test (E-Test) :
It aims at assessing candidate's ability of comprehensing language through exercise of
precis, meaning of words, phrases and articulation of language (any one or more mode.)

The Expression Test will be designed to judge creative and proper use of language. This test
can be attempted either in Hindi or English but the same medium must be used in all parts of
the Expression Test.

2. PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST QUALIFYING

The Modified Canadian Physical Fitness Test will be used. A brief description of the test is
given below.

Time will be recorded upto the fraction of a second. The Qualifying time for men &
women candidate will be 38 seconds, The candidates clocking 38 seconds will
qualify for further admission process.

Important Notes :
. A candidate will be given a maximum of three chances.
Hurdle should be crossed without being knocked down. If a student/candidate leaves the
test incomplete, he/she will be disqualified for that trial. If any candidate fails or slips
.
while performing the test, he/she must complete the test and should not drop out in
between failing which the candidate will loose one chance out of the three chances.

3. SPORTS PROFICIENCY TEST
