WARNING:
● Before beginning the installation, turn off electricity at the circuit breaker box or the main fuse box by
switching off the circuit breaker or removing the fuse.
CAUTION:
● These instructions are provided for your safety. It is very important that they are read completely before
the installation of your fixture. We strongly recommend that a professional electrician install the fixture.
● Disconnect fixture from the power source before replacing the bulb(s), making sure the bulb(s) had
sufficient time to cool down. DO NOT subject the lamp to any shock while lit as shattering of lamp may
result.
PREPARATION
● Before beginning installation of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package
contents list and diagram above. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble, install or
operate the product. Contact customer service for replacement part.
● Estimated Assembly Time : 30 - 45 minutes
● Tools Required for Assembly (not included) : Flathead Screwdriver , Phillips Screwdriver, Pliers,
Electrical Tape, Wire Cutters, Safety Glasses &21, 60 Watt, Type - A Medium Base Bulbs.
● Helpful Tools (not included) : Wire Strippers.

STEP 1 : SHADE DISTRIBUTION

a . Refer to Shade Distribution , unfold Support Arms to
proper locations .
b . Thread the nipple on the bottom center of the Center
Column into the Hex Coupling on the top center of the Bolt
Fixture Assembly . Hand tighten until snug . Make sure
the Bolts on Center Column and Fixture Pan are lined
up before tightening . Center

STEP 2 :
a . Thread the Fixture Loop onto the nipple on the top
center of the Center Column. Hand tighten until snug . Fixture Loop

STEP 3 :
a . Locate holes on Side Arms over Bolts on Center
Column and Fixture Pan . Thread Lock Balls onto Bolts
and hand tighten until snug to secure Side Arms .

STEP 4: Cotter
Jam Nut
a. Thread one Jam Nut onto the Long Nipple end without the Pin
Cotter Pin hole. Drill A 5/8” diameter clearance hole on the

top inside center of the Outlet Box and Outlet box Support
Beams. Pass the Cotter Pin hole end of the Long Nipple Fender Washer
through the holes in Outlet Box and Outlet Box Support
Beams. Adjust the Jam Nut on the nipple to make sure the Long Nipple
end of the Long Nipple are inside of the Outlet Box.
b. Pass Fender Washer and Tooth Washer over the Cotter Pin
hole end of the Long Nipple and thread two Jam Nuts to
secure them. Hand tighten until snug.
c. Install the Cotter Pin into the cotter pin hole. Outlet
d. Thread another Jam Nut onto the bottom end of the Long Box
Nipple until 0.5” nipple is extruded from the Jam Nut.

STEP 5:
a. Pass Tooth Washer over the end of the Long Nipple and
thread the QMH Hickey onto the nipple. Tighten until snug.

STEP 6:
a. Thread another two Jam Nuts onto both ends of the Short Jam Nut
Nipple until 0.5” nipples are extruded from the Jam Nuts.

STEP 7:
a . Locate the Fixture Chain and attach one end of it to
the Fixture Loop at the top of the Fixture with a Quick Fixture Chain
Link Connector .
b . Decide the length of the chain needed for your
application . You will be required to remove excess Quick Link
links with bolt cutters .

STEP 8:
a . Unravel the Fixture Wires , Ground Wires , Ground Wires and Safety Cable .
b . Pass the wires and Safety Cable through alternating links on the chain . Proceed to pass them
through the following mounting components in this turn :
Canopy Lock Ring , Ceiling Canopy , Canopy Chain Loop , Tooth Washer, Short Nipple with Jam Nuts
and another Tooth Washer .

STEP 9:
a. Refer to IS-SC100 for Safety Cable installation instructions.

STEP 10:
a . Pass one Tooth Washer over one end of the Short Nipple
and then thread the Nipple into the QMH Hickey. Using
plier , thread one Jam Nut against the QMH Hickey and
tighten until snug .
b. Locate another Tooth Washer over the end of the Short
Nipple and thread the Canopy Chain Loop onto the nipple.
Hand tighten until snug. Using plier , thread another Jam
Nut on the Short Nipple against the Canopy Chain Loop
and tighten until snug . Tooth Washer QMH Hickey
c . Attach the top end of the Fixture Chain onto Canopy

Jam Nuts
d . Refer to Step 11 - Wire Connections to connect wires .

e . Push the Ceiling Canopy upward over the Outlet Box .
f . Thread the Canopy Lock Ring onto the Canopy Chain Canopy
Loop and tighten until snug to secure the Ceiling Chain Loop

STEP 11 :
* Use Wire Connectors ( not supplied ) to connect the WHITE OR RIBBED WHITE OR RIBBED
wires . FROM HOUSE FROM FIXTURE
a . Connect the House Ground Wire to the Fixture Ground
Wire.
b . Connect the House White ( or Ribbed ) Wire to the BLACK ( OR RED ) WIRE BLACK OR SMOOTH
Fixture Supply Wire ( White or Ribbed Side ) .
c . Connect the House Black ( or Red ) Wire to the Fixture FROM HOUSE FROM FIXTURE
Supply Wire ( Black or Smooth Side ).
d . Wrap each connection with approved electrical tape

and carefully stuff all of the connected wires into the
Outlet Box . FROM HOUSE FROM FIXTURE

STEP 12 :
a . Thread the beaded end of the Stem into the Coupling
underside of Socket Cluster and hand tighten until
snug .

STEP 13 :
a . Install the correct Bulbs onto the Socket Clusters underside of the Fixture Pan referring to fixture
markings and / or labels for maximum wattage .

STEP 14 :
a . Place the Shade and the Shade Holder over the end of
the Stem in turn and secure with the Hex Nut. Tighten
gently until snug.
b. Locate the Cap over the end of the Stem and secure with
the Finial. Hand tighten until snug.

STEP 15 :
a. Place Shades and Steel Collars over Sockets as Socket Collar
shown . Thread Socket Collars onto the Sockets and
tighten until snug to secure Shades .

STEP 16 :
a . Install correct Bulbs referring to fixture markings and / or labels for maximum wattage .

Your installation is completed now . Restore electricity . Retain this sheet for future reference .
