Esteban Azevedo, PT, COMT
Amy Hay, PT, COMT
Both Esteban and Amy have worked ten years
in an outpatient physical therapy setting,
specializing in the evaluation and treatment of
chronic pain. In this setting, they work closely
with pain physicians and pain psychologists.
Esteban and Amy are certified with the
International Academy of Orthopedic
Medicine (IAOM) for the Spine and Extremities
and teach for the IAOM.
They have both been published in Pain
Practice. Esteban has presented at physician
pain conferences (Society for Pain Practice
Management) on physical therapist and pain
physician teamwork. He also presented at the
IAOM International Forum on Interventional
Pain Management Procedures.
Esteban and Amy are dedicated to sharing
their knowledge and experience of working
alongside interventional pain physicians.
In 2004, Esteban and Amy started an
outpatient private practice, Modern Physical
Therapy, and a multimedia patient education
business in Kansas City, MO.
