INTERACTIVE SEMINAR – WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

The seminar – workshop is dedicated to one of the essential issues of petroleum industry:
How to increase the oil production.
Among numerous production operations the artificial lift is highlighted as critical to
optimizing oil production in many settings, particularly in case of ageing assets. Through an
integral interactive professional course work combined with sharing the experiences and
knowledge of participants, during the comprehensive and concise lectures, the attendees will
learn about the reservoir and its producing potential and behavior, well performance as well
as overview of each of known lifting options and new developments in artificial lift design
and diagnostics.
The program will combine the seminar course lectures – taught by university professors
with contribution of participants through short presentations addressed to case studies and
practical examples of field applications as well as panel discussion in order to stimulate the
highly desirable interactive nature of the workshop.
The primary objective of the seminar is to provide attendees with advanced knowledge,
based on system analysis, enabling them to improve efficiency of artificial lift projects,
increase production and reduce risks and operating costs. Also, the exchange of knowledge
and experience during the Seminar will commence the further research efforts in the field of
optimizing the production technology.

MODERATORS
