Description: Our Project Risk Management (PRM) services provide organizations with
tools to identify, address and mitigate risks related to the management, execution, and
control of projects. We help organizations to optimize the execution of project
management activities by providing risk management services based on our
comprehensive PRM methodologies. There can be different levels of effort:
• Assessment – Protiviti evaluates the risk management effectiveness and control
environment of any level of project activity, from a single project to enterprise-wide
project management practices.
• Risk Management Implementation – Protiviti provides a range of services and tools
to assist you in implementing strategies, processes and controls for improving your
project environment.
Value Proposition: We provide project management, technical architecture, platform and
application technical expertise and experienced process design resources to successfully
build, deploy and integrate IM solutions into the client’s environment.
We apply several fundamentals during our service delivery.
Understand your risks. We approach projects from a business perspective. We start by
first understanding your business itself – how the project is helping you achieve your
strategy and what potential project risks might mean to your business. We work with you to
perform comprehensive assessments of the quality of your existing risk management
processes.
Summarize key observations. We use a number
of techniques to gather symptoms of business risks
and aggregate those observations into a summarized
scorecard for effective use and follow-up by the
organization.
Design a project risk plan. We help you define the
combination of organization, skills, processes,
software, and technology that aligns your current and
future needs with your business objectives. We work
with you to evaluate options and then define policies,
education, training, technologies, standards, roles,
responsibilities, processes, and metrics needed for a
sustainable project risk management program.
Support your monitoring efforts. Sometimes,outside eyes can see things you don’t. We
can help supplement your project management and monitoring capabilities with periodic
risk assessments designed to confirm that your project is proceeding as planned and the
key, significant issues have been surfaced and are being addressed.
