Job Responsibility as a Warranty Manager- FORD
 Ensure the concern reports and warranty claims are raised in timely manner with all the
relevant information and then raised in special software project with internet - FORD
SERVIS2 database . SERVIS2 is a online internet software system about
business to business plan for regular warranty and extended
warranty . ( https://www.servis2.ford.com )
 Maintain the warranty register and update the register after the claims
are settled.
 Store the warranty parts at the designated area and ensure proper
tagging
 Send the parts to Ford India PRC (parts recall centre ) WARPEC system
 Raise PARF (prior authorization request form) in Autodeal and
Servis2 as per the warranty policy.
 Scrutinizing the PDI check sheet and sending them to ford India for
claim settlement
 Ensure the Free service coupons , warranty job card ,invoice copy,
claim copy are send to Ford India on timely basis which is ford
requirement
 Keep a database for all the warranty claims, free services and PDI
claims send to Ford India and update the credit notes received on
those accounts.
 Monitor the warranty , Free service and PDI claims, pending claims and
submit monthly report to the Service Manager and co-ordinate with
Ford India Warranty team for immediate payments
 Monitoring Product performance and submitting to quality report to
head office- FORD INDIA through EDSR Online system (Electronic

 PDI concern and all 6MIS (six months in service from the date of sell)
concern reports to be prepared & analyses on daily basis and send to
the FORD INDIA through tsiap website GCR -> Global Concern
Reporting (GCR ) is the online system for dealers to report vehicle

 Ensure effective usage of TSB for fixing the concern. And conscious
about all TSB,DNP,ONP,SSM,BCM,UPS from DCC ( Dealer

replacing defective part and approval for Engine & Transmission
 Analysis repeat repair and co-ordinate service supervisor ,Advisor and
technician
 Interact with service Manager,DCRC Manager and co-operate with
Service Advisor & Service Supervisor to achieve highest levels of
customer satisfaction And also successfully co-ordinate Ford India and
our dealer
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AS A PARTS MANAGER- FORD
 Manage the parts business to maintain an active inventory that is within the financial
guidelines established by the dealer /market place.
 Ensure profitability of the Parts Department through the sales of parts and accessories,
also effective fiscal discipline.
 Evaluate operating performance as reflected by the daily operating control and other
business controls and take action as required.
 To maintain the integrity by ensuring that the parts department complies with
established procedures and meets all legal and regulatory requirements.
 Ensure credit limit availability for every stock order placed and ensure timely
ordering and payments to Ford India for the parts purchases
 Initiate housekeeping, safety and security procedures that result in a safe and
attractive work environment.
 Establish the maintain an inventory storage system for equipment location, bin
locations, bin numbering, bin tags etc..
 Utilize Autodeal effectively to manage parts ordering, Receiving, Stocking, Sales
tracking, inventory management and Management reports.
 Promptly deliver parts as requested by technician through pre pick list or workshop
requisition slip.
 Process all paperwork regarding vehicle repairs on a timely basis and forward to
service advisor upon completion.
 Checking of incoming and outgoing materials.
 Dispatch of materials to our branch workshop.
 Stock checking / inventory control. Correspondence with principles, local suppliers
and customers.
 Making Monthly orders – Air / VOR orders, Initial Orders, Replenishment orders etc.
 Procurement of materials through transporters by air, road.
 Procurement of materials from principles through regular indents.
 Product awareness campaigns, dealer schemes & incentives on various products.
 Supervision of sales force daily reports / expensive statements & suggestions for
improvement.
 Cost and net profit aspects of new and existing products as and when changes takes
place in price / levies / taxes, etc.
