Heco Panel Heating System
Introduction
Heco panel is a low voltage electric heating system. The heating system is made up of panels (of
various sizes), the panels are collectively installed on to a wall. The panels are then interconnected
to work as an individual unit capable of heating the space it is installed in.

It will run from any type of power source. The system can be powered by Solar Panel, Wind
Turbines, Diesel Generators and Grid electricity.

Features of Heco Panel

Heco Panel heating system has some unique features the following will highlight features which
would be benefited in a hospital environment.

Hygiene
Heco Panels are made of MS Steel and all cavities and air gaps are sealed. The panels can be
easily disinfected by wiping the surface with a disinfectant.

• No Moving Air: Hence prevent the circulation of germs through the system
• Easily cleaned: The panel is not perforated hence easily cleaned. A perforated surface
contains segments which can’t be cleaned (Eg: A Radiators internal grills cannot be cleaned
hence germs may grow with ease due to the warm conditions)
• Safe to use: All the components in the Panels meet European safety standards. The panels
are insulated internally and externally from electricity there is no chances of electric shocks.
Scalability
You can easily increase the heating capacity of a room either by adding more tiles or by boosting
the tile power using our controllers.

• Increase Heating: In certain environments (poor insulation, high air exchange, etc.) you may
require more heating power. Using Heco Panel you can do this in a matter of minutes you
can use our controller to boost power or you can add more tiles.
• Modular Heating: The system is designed to be modular, this means you can easily control
where heat is supplied. If you have an empty ward, you can turn of the heating in the ward
without affecting any other setup. (In a radiator system, you can close the radiator but you
will still have to run your boiler at capacity)
• Flexible Installation1: You can install the system in stages there is no pre-requisite to
expansion of the system.

Dynamic System
Heco Panels are dynamic in terms of power supply and usage. The system can work on almost any
type of power supply.

• AC / DC: The panels are capable of running on both AC / DC power supply without affecting
the performance of the system.
• Solar Direct: The Panels can be powered directly from solar panels, since the SPV Panels
operate at similar voltages
• Generators: The units can be easily powered by a generator and still give you an ROI due to
its low power consumptions2
• Universally Switchable: The most dynamic feature is that the power source can be
switched from solar, mains or generator at any time without and changes to the system.

The universal switching capability is a unique feature to this heating system. To explain this feature
I will explain with an example.

Today you install Heco Panels which are powered by Genset and then after one year you wish to
invest into a solar power plant. You need to do nothing, all you have to do is supply electricity from
the solar plant to the panels. There is no change to system required.

Reliable System
The Panels contain no moving parts. The heating elements can handle any kind of voltage
fluctuations without any problems. There is practically no point of failure on the panels. In the even
there is a failure the only component that can fail is the panel, which by modularity will never affect
the entire system. In no case is it possible for the system to fail entirely.

• Reliability: The system without any moving parts and hi electric tolerance can never fail, if
it does it will not affect another panel.
• Maintenance: There are no components which require maintenance. No oiling, no cleaning
of pipes, no cleaning boilers, no replacement of anti-freeze, NO Maintenance for the
system.
• Warranty: We offer a 10Year warranty with for our panels and extended warranties are
available for up to 20Years.

Installation
Heco Panels can be installed easily in almost any environment with very limited tools. The only
tools required would be a screwdriver and a drill. We are constantly refining out installation system
to make it easier to install.

• Limited Expertise: The Panels can be installed by an basic electrician with little guidance.
• No Special Equipment: There is no need for any specialized tools, the most common
basic tools such as a drill and a screw-driver is all that is needed.
• Easy Replacement: In the event a panel malfunctions it can easily be replaced by
removing the old panel and installing the new one. (This is done by removing the mounting
screws and disconnecting the electric connections, which will take no more than 10Minutes)
