Causation
What motivated your chosen explorer or exploration? Find a photo that shows what motivated your explorer or exploration
(why) and another photo that shows if they were successful or not (outcome) in achieving what they set out to do. Explain
‘why’ in your response below.
I Read the book John Cabot and it seemed so interesting, in one part of the book it showed when he died and I wanted to know how. I
also found a lot of other information and was curios about them and I knew if this was my explorer I would find out all those things and a
lot of other people would be interested in it too. The picture of Christopher Columbus motivated John Cabot because Christopher
Columbus discovered America first and John Cabot wanted to explore. John Cabot also got motivated because he read a book that
showed the maps of the world and had some information about it. This boat is a picture of a fail when only one of John Cabot’s ships got
back to the harbor and John Cabot was on the missing ship.
