The writing styles adopted by everyone are different. Although the content of an article might be

the same, the style used by different writers provides the readers with different experience. Here

the aim is to compare and contract two styles, Style A and Style B. Both Style A and Style B are

different in many ways yet they have one thing in common, i.e. the focus on the essential aspects

of both cases.

Style A is more of a personal opinion and here the author provides their own view to the issue at

hand. Style B on the other hand is based on a comparison of two major universities in the world,

Kentucky and Cornell. Style B is based on facts and figures while Style A is based on personal

experiences.

Style B is clear precise and accurate, while Style A to a great extent lacks the clarity and

accuracy as the other. The ideas presented in Style A have not been clearly listed out and have

not been clearly supported. However the author has ensured that all ideas and views in Style B

are well supported with facts and figures.

Since the two writings are completely different from each other, the tone of each of the articles is

different. Style A for instance is more serious and straight forward while B is more humorous,

sarcastic and also a much stronger writing. Style B manages to keep the audiences interested

until the end of the article, while Style A lacks the ability to keep the audiences interested. Style

B uses simple language and provides a holistic view of both sides of the story, while Style A is

provides only one side of the story.

The approach used in Style A is relatively much more of free style writing and here the author

does not need to research much on other external factors or elements. These are purely opinions

and true experience faced by the author. Style B on the other hand is more based on facts, figures

and needs to be completely backed by numbers.

In conclusion, both the styles have an approach of their own. Style B however is relatively more

effective and impactful than A. The author for B has been able to effectively keep the attention

of the readers, as well as provide all the details in a short simple and crisp manner. The author

has clearly been able to effective achieve all of these factors, while also continuously ensuring

the style is professional.
